Questions for this shipment:
Question:
I can get you to the upstate jersey area. will this help? (1/23/2006)
Response:
Thanks for the offer, unfortunately I need to go to upper Conn. (1/23/2006)
Question:
For $125 I'll take you door to door. Leave early Friday arrive Friday evening. I'd be available for your drive back if something goes wrong with the truck-- Dave (1/23/2006)
Response:
I am currently looking at having someone drive it down for me, but may still be interested in your offer. Thanks and I'll let you know. (1/23/2006)
Question:
I see you're still exploring other options. I'm placing a bid anyway, i can be very flexible. This would involve early pickup Friday morning and a few stops along the way but you'd be in CT be evening. -- Dave (1/25/2006)
Response:
Hello, I noticed that you cancelled the bid. Are you still interested or have you changed your mind. I was going to give you an answer first thing in the morning if that is still ok. It looks as though this may work out best for me so I was going to accept it. Does the offer still stand? (1/25/2006)
Question:
I'm sorry, other loads are firming up that would make the run over to Stem a real problem. I'm still trying to make it fit but I thought it best to retract my bid. Do you have any way to make it to I-95? -- Dave (1/26/2006)
Question:
If you can get to Petersburg (110 miles) i can take you the rest of the way. Otherwise, i'm trying to get other loads on I-95. If , at the end of the day, I haven't nailed anything down I would still be able to pick you up in Stem but we won't know until this evening. -- Dave (1/26/2006)
Response:
Dave, thanks for getting back with me. Petersburg is a bit far for me, but I could meet you on I-95 somewhere between Wilson and Rocky Mount. Would that work for you? Thanks, Will (1/26/2006)
Question:
According to googlemaps It's 85 miles from Stem to Rocky mount. So a difference of 25 miles for you is a difference of around 150 miles for me given that I can go almost straight up to Petersburg from Herford. But I'd like to help you if I can. I just didn't want to add those miles to my trip if it mean haviong to pass on other loads. We will see what the day brings. If my other things don't come through I can probably help you out. --- Dave (1/26/2006)
Response:
Dave, I didn't realize where you were coming from, so now I see how much it would be out of your way. I completely understand. Petersburg would probably work out, just keep me posted. Thanks, Will (1/26/2006)
Question:
Plans are firming up, i would be passing throgh Petersburg EARLY, like 6:am. Planning to make DC before 9. If you can make it you might be driving your truck home by dinner time-- Dave (1/26/2006)
Response:
That sounds good to me. I guess I'll drive my 4runner to Petersburg, and try to work out a way to get it home afterward. 6am sounds good, the dealership I am buying the truck from closes at 6pm, so I would love to make it by then to avoid staying in a hotel overnight. Does this change in pickup location have any effect on the price... since it reduces your distance and time? Thanks, Will (1/26/2006)
Question:
I posted a slightly lower bid. Can I get a little help loading In DC and New York? (one item) --Dave (1/26/2006)
Response:
I would be glad to help any way I can. Would it be better for you to go through Hampton? I have a sister that lives near Williamsburg that I could stay with tonight. That way it would be easier to work out a place to store and retieve my 4runner. (1/26/2006)
Question:
That will work. We need to pick an idiotproof spot on I-64 (with an exit number) Plan on being there not later than 6:am. -- Dave (1/26/2006)
Response:
Worked it out with my sister. She said that there is a Wal-Mart and Lowe's right off of I-64 in Williamsburg at exit 234 (Rochambeau). She can drop me off there at 6am. Sound good? (1/26/2006)
Question:
Done- accept my bid and give a cell phone numebr. I'll see you there. -- Dave (1/26/2006)
