Additional Information: My 86 caddy at 10mpg won't carry me to Florida at a reasonable price, roundtrip. Neither will the Airlines, beside I always wanted to see the road from a trucker's viewpoint. I'm a Libertarian (former Democrat), smoke like a chimney, not queer and love coast-to-coast talk radio. Art Bell & George Nooney are favorites. Love debates... so give me an earfull of your opinions. Will take camera and document the trip for publication in local papers when I get back. Couple suitcases and I'm good to go. I was hired by "Stevens" trucking but failed the health hearing exam, so you can see my desire to experience the long haul trip. Need to go to Largo, Florida which is in the Tampa area. Friends there can pick me up just about anywhere in that area.
I'm an young 57 yrs old, former commercial pilot.

Response: Since I am SS Disabled (Heart & COPD) when I leave isn't important, except for the next week. I've got doctor's appts to complete. Yeah, got a license and can drive any kind of vehicle. Why ask? I'm looking for a ride. TW (3/4/2006)
