Additional Information: Distance at point of pick-up to my place is about 240 miles according to mapquest. Machine is a parts machine w/ a blown motor. She weighs around 5 or 6 tons according to IH book. I bought this machine on Ebay last winter & have yet to find someone RELIABLE & ACCOUNTABLE to actually do the move. One rear tire has now gone flat from sitting & will need to be re-inflated or just de-flate the other tire so the machine sits level on your trailer. Property owner where machine is has indicated he has a machine to push this backhoe onto your trailer or you can use your winch to pull it on-board. I have already paid two deposits to 2 different haulers over the past year who advertized on Ebay who have both disappeared with my money. NO MORE upfront money. What kind of country have we digressed to where people blantly steal from other unsuspecting folks?? All I have been trying to accomplish is a simple move from the Boston Ma area to here. I am 60 miles W of Albany NY & just 6 miles N of Exit 29A off the NYS Thruway. You are on I-90 virtually the whole way. 5 hrs drive one way...Nothing difficult about it!! I would make the move myself but I do NOT own a 9 ton 20 ft trailer. Thank You. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi, I have a Landoll trailer and could winch this on and roll it off with no problem. Could do this in a few weeks and would not need to be paid till the job is done. (1/10/2007)
Response: "Once a bid is accepted, both parties' contact info will be exchanged." -uShip. Your landoll trailer I believe would be the perfect type of trailer for this job just because you could winch the tractor on and off. This is my first time using uship so I do not know [email removed] for that stuff. Your price is not out of line at all for what I am asking you to do but I have already spent $450 in two deposits getting ripped-off. So in my mind when I add that $450 to your asking price of $700, I'll have $1150. into moving this damned thing. Can you do the job any more inexpensively by say doing the job when sometime your in the area and you could piggy back this along with another job you are doing at the same time?? I really am not in a rush to get it but I just want to finally contract with someone who will keep their word if you know what I mean. Thanks, Steve (1/10/2007)
Question: Hi, I will do it for 600.00 that is the best i can do for you with the tolls and the u ship fees. But you have to let me know soon. (1/15/2007)
Response: Hi Mike, I can only pray that I am writing to you the right words because Uship has already red flagged my first email to you. I had questions but some jealous of you vigilante turned me in & I still do not have the answers because the questions were deleted. We are in the midst of an ice storm & over-night sub-zero temperatures right now & I would NEVER expect ANYONE to move this machine in these conditions. Your bid is the only one I have received & your excellent feedback speaks for itself so I really want to contract with you but I am on permanent disability with a small monthly fixed income & I have very little disposable money especially after I have been ripped off already. Would you consider $500. & I will commit but in return you could wait to do the move till you can combine it with another in February, March, April, or May for all I care. Even when the machine gets here, I still have no one to swap parts for me anytime soon. So thanks for considering my thoughts, Steve (1/15/2007)
Question: STEVE, I will do it for the 500.00 but i will need to do it in the next week or so. Please confirm this with me. Thanks (1/15/2007)
Response: Hi again Mike, thank you so much for understanding about the cost issue for me. What do I need to do next to contact you directly to confirm your bid and NOT get re-flagged again ?? Do I just hit the accept button of the auction or will that accept your original price of $700.?? I also need to give you contact information for Marie and her dad at the pick-up location and let them steer you to where the machine is parked. I only have a street address and phone number for them. I have never been there and have only seen the left side body and cab of the machine in a photo. I have items currently for sale on Ebay and with that income, I should have your cash in hand sometime by late next week if the buyers paypal me instead of snail mailing me Postal money orders. Never fear, I can borrow the money from a friend upon your arrival IF that were to be the worst case senerio. So please write back and let me know what I need to do next. Thanks again, Steve (1/15/2007)
Question: Steve just click on the accept button i changed the bid to 500.00 then we will get the contact info from U Ship you can the send me your ph. no. Mike (1/15/2007)
