Question: I run this route every week from WI to MASS and back home to WI!! always up in the area your stuff is located!! May be able to assist you!! Is there help loading items?? fully liscensed and insured carrier!! Troy Twisted_Transport (3/22/2008)

Response: Based on the eBay photos I've see, place looks pretty large with a fair amount of equipment strewn about, at least one hand jack and (I assume) multiple people available to assist.
1. How big is your truck? Think you can handle 5 or 6 weightlifting machines in one load?
2. Any problem with a slight detour to Maryland (if needed)?
3. Any problem with a slight detour to Cleveland (if needed)?
Actually, there is no big rush picking up any of these items ... depending on what I buy (and how reasonable your rates are) we can spread pickup over several weeks.
Thanks (3/22/2008)

Response: PA and Cleveland, NO problem, but SLIGHT detour to MD hehehaha, thats more than slight!! Wish i could help there cause that is what i am oing next week...what you have in MD that needs to be picked up?? I have 5 pickups to do between baltimore and washington..My truck is full size semi with 48ft reefer trailer...reasonable rates?? Well at over $4.00/per gallon i try to get a full load so everyone wins.. (3/23/2008)

Response: Will contact you in a few days ... after the dust has settled on some other purchases I am looking at.
At this point looks like I will need 2 stops in PA and a quick pickup in Cleveland.
Is Plymouth, MN somewhere near your regular route? (3/23/2008)

Response: Plymouth is close enough to home for me!! Could make it work....Keep me informed, and let me know what types of equipment you will be needing hauled and from what cities and i can then look for other freight and give you a bid....Troy (3/23/2008)

Response: Hi Troy - an update:
The Plymouth equipment is 5days away from being finalized - only a 50/50 chance I will buy it.
Earlier today I purchased another (5) weight machines from near Lancaster, PA.
They are all roughly the same size - maybe 3'6" wide x 6'long and lets say 4' tall. Figure 300pounds each, maybe 350. Some a bit smaller, some larger, but you get the idea.
Are you interested in picking up all 8?
I have 3 guys interested in the first 3 machines I listed on uShip a couple days ago, two guys at $350 and 1 guy (with an empty horse trailer) at $325.
Can you offer a 'package deal' for all 8?
I have been corresponding with the $350 guy and he has offered to make 2 PA runs and pick up all the stuff for $700.
You were the 1st guy to contact me, have lots of positive feedback and (I think) can haul all my equipment in one trip.
Interested?
How about $600 for the 8items in PA, and another $100 if you make a Plymouth detour for 1 item?
Let me know
Tom (3/23/2008)

Response: Wish i could load these things for you but think i am pushing my limit right now as far as room on my trailer goes1! Loading a 20ft truck, 1 snowmobile, 3 snow plows and 6 standard pallets Wed-Fri, then taking back to WI, and taking some time off at home...I was hoping to be able to assist you this next week but i dont think that will be able to happen...Hope you find someone that takes care of your items!! Keep me in mind next time...If i find that i have room left i will check back with you...Troy (3/23/2008)

Response: Thanks Troy!
If all or part of my equipment is still in need of transport a couple weeks from now I will be in touch to see if there is any further interest.
Thank you again.
Tom (3/24/2008)

Response: Hey Tom, $800 CASH upon delivery!! pickup first wed evening then the other 8 on friday or saturday!!! Let me know ASAP!!! Troy (3/25/2008)

Response: Will advise in 24 - 48 hours (3/25/2008)

Question: hi I have ford E350 van and should be able to fit all 3 in and i can do it 4-7 pick up and drop off 4-8 if intersted ill put a bid in for $350 just accept and book a spot thanks smallhaul1 (3/23/2008)

Response: How often do you make a run to Pennsylvania?
Just a few minutes ago, I purchased FIVE more machines (total is now 8). Best case, this will mean 2 trips in a E350.
On one hand, your offer to move the 3 is reasonable. On the other, it MIGHT be cheaper if I can find one guy with a big trailer to move everything.
I think I will post the 5 new machines on uShip and see if I can get a single person to move all 8.
If I find someone in the next couple days, good for me/bad for you. If I can't, then bad for me/good for you.
Can you give me until Wednesday?
Thanks.
Tom (3/23/2008)

Response: I got a big trailer and i could move about 15 of them and on all of them so lets work out a deal on this and for cheap to save you some cash and do you know the total weight on all of them so i know if i should use my f250 or if i should use the e350 thanks smallhaul1 (3/23/2008)

Response: Smallhaul ... where did you go?
Have you decided you don't want to bid on the 8 machines? (3/25/2008)

Question: Hello, I hope all is going well with your purchases and your ability to find a trust worthy shipper. I am intersted in helping you out with your shipments. I live in MA and I am going out to ST. paul MN to a horse auction this coming weekend. I have an empty horse trailer going out this is almost fully enclosed. Except for a 6 inch band at the top part of the trailer. IF you want to look at the trailer go to exiss.com and it is an exiss20. You are on my route and I can do this for your target price of 375.00. The trailer is always cleaned and pressure washed after every use, and we could tarp your equipment. I could pick up on Thursday evening and have to you on Friday evening. IF you are interested please let me know. The ones in Cleveland may even be possible as well.
thanks so much
jason
Take a look at my feedback and let me know what you think.
(3/23/2008)

Response: Thanks for the fast response, Jason.
Bought more stuff earlier today, so ideally I can find someone to haul it all. Total quantity is now 8 weightlifting machines, so the Exiss20 wont be big enough.
However, if I cant find someone to do it all and need to break it up I will get back to you.
I realize you are looking for loads, so please dont wait on me ... if it works for us, great.
Will try to confirm back to you within 48hours.
Thanks again.
(3/23/2008)

Response: hello, thanks for getting back in touch. I talked it over with my brother who is the one going out to MN. He doesn't really want to drive to Lancaster as it would be about 300 miles out of his way.
Therefore, he would just rather do the ones listed, keep an eye out if you don't think you can find someone to do them all or if you want some sooner, he can bring these three out to you. Where is the one in MN.
thanks
jason
(3/24/2008)

Response: Thanks for the info.
The one in MN is on the west side of Minn/St.Paul.
Also have one (possible) on the west side of Chicago - will know later tonight. Its pretty much on the route to Wisconsin.
Ideally, I'd still like someone to handle everything, but I'll see how it goes over the next couple days.
Just so I have an idea about price :
How much for the (3) machines?
How much for (3) + (1) in Chicago?
How much for (3) + (1) Chicago + (1) MN?
Keep in touch.
Thanks again.
Tom (3/24/2008)

Question: I see you bought more!! Give me cities/states, and how many pieces at each location and i can give you a price!! All on same trailer, all delivered at same time!! Troy.... (3/23/2008)

Response: The weights and sizes I gave to smallhaul (uShip website) are a bit more accurate than the ones I gave you - please use those.
Also note that the guy with the horsetrailer was $375, not $325.
Hope to hear from you soon. (3/23/2008)

Response: $800 COD!!! Have a 715 trivia puzzle for you 797 Tom, lets see how good you are and if 5389 you are able to solve it..Can load the 1st 3 machines wed evening then the other 5 in lancaster on friday or saturday!! Let me know when you solve the trivia puzzle..Troy Twisted Transport (3/25/2008)

Response: Will let you know in 24 - 48hrs.
Thanks for your interest.
Tom (3/25/2008)

Question: hello, thanks for getting back in touch with me. Well let me know. Where are the other 5 machines that you bought just curious. Well keep me in mind if you don't find anyone. The exiss horse trailer is 24 feet long and 8 feet wide. I can fit 6 horses, I would think all 8 would fit, but I'm not completely sure.
Just keep me posted please.
(3/24/2008)

Response: Hmmm - I must have looked at the wrong trailer on the website. I think you may be right, 8' x 24' might do the job.
The other 5 machines are near Lancaster.
A trip to Cleveland is NOT needed.
Any chance you will have room to haul (1) machine back from Minnesota?
What sort of $$ do you think you might want to haul all (8) - EXCLUDING the one in MN, which isnt a sure thing yet?
Thanks again.
Tom (3/24/2008)

Response: where is the one on the west side of Chicago? We can still do the three and maybe the one on the west side of Chicago.
thanks
jason
(3/25/2008)

Response: Unfortunately, didnt win the Chicago equipment.
Any interest in the Minn/St.Paul machine? I wont know if it's mine for a couple days, but at this point am wondering if you have the time or room or interest in hauling it.
Will let you know on the (3) PA machines in a day or so.
Are you sure you dont want to make the run to Lancaster?
Thanks. (3/25/2008)

Response: Hello, again I will talk to my brother and my father tonight as they are the ones going. I told him last night about the 5 in Lancaster and told them that you would probably pay about another 300.00 to haul those, but then I saw that you were thinking about maybe another 100.00 per machine, so I will ask him again tonight. At pickup at either location is it a business or residence as they would be there early in the morning.
thanks
jason
(3/25/2008)

Response: Thank you for the continued interest. I would like to keep my total transport cost for (8) machines as close to $800 as possible, although I just made a counteroffer to another guy for $880.
If he were to decline, and if your dad and brother were willing to do it for, say, $840 (that $105 per machine), I think both sides could feel pretty good about the deal.
Please let me know as soon as possible.
Also, both pickup places are businesses and I am hoping they would be willing to work around your schedule - where do you want to go first, and what time do you want to pick up??
Thanks again.
Tom (3/25/2008)

Question: I have a 26ft. box truck headed to PA. How many machines are you shipping. I could to this for you Monday or Tuesday of next week. Please check our feedback VIPLogisticSolutions. Thanks. (3/24/2008)

Response: Thanks for the contact, VP.
(8) total machines, (3) in Hawley, PA and (5) in Lancaster, PA.
One more possible (will know in a couple hours) on the west side of Chicago - pretty much on your route to WI.
Ideally, you could handle everything. Option two is just the (5) in Lancaster.
If you are interested, please make an offer - I would like to resolve the transport in the next day or two and let everyone know.
Thanks!!
Tom (3/24/2008)

Response: For the 8 machines I can would have to charge. $1250.00. This is taking the 2 pick-up locations into concideration. (3/24/2008)

Response: Ouch.
How much for just the (5) in Lancaster?
And how much for the (5) in Lancaster plus the one in Chicago?
I appreciate the fast quote and your willingness to do all 8 machines, but I've had quotes for the first 3 and the MAX quote was $125 per machine. Frankly, VP, I figured a 'package deal' for 8 or 9 would be somewhere south of $100 each, not north of $150 each.
If interested, please quote the (5) in Lancaster + Chicago. Also, if you want to take a look at your numbers again I would be happy to reconsider a revised bid from you.
Thank you again for your interest - I hope we can do business.
Regards,
Tom
(3/24/2008)

Response: I can come a little closer to the $100 per. machine. I will re-bid. for all 8. I could do the 5 in Lancaster for $600.00. Let me know if you are intrested and please check our feedback. Thanks. VIP (3/24/2008)

Response: Thanks for the continued interest and quick answers. The (5) in Lancaster for $600 is about right - thats $120 per machine, which seems to be the going rate give or take ten bucks per machine. But then the other three (3) are costing me $450, which is $150 per, which is too steep for me. I'm assuming the 'detour' you need to take to collect the (3) is out of your way and isn't cost effective for you? If you can do all (8) at $110 each we can close the deal, otherwise I may have to split this - 5 in Lancaster for you, the other 3 for someone else. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon - and to doing some business with you as well. You seem like a very reputable company, and I hope you can accept my offer. Kind regards, Tom (3/25/2008)

Response: Yes that is correct. Having the 2 stops increases the price for me. I doubt you will find a reputible company to handle all your items at once in a timely manner. I am sure VIP will exceed your expectations for quality and performance. Before I can make a final decision I need to know Hawleys PA's (Second pick up location) zip code to see how far it is from Lancaster. I will then put in a final bid for all machines. If you want me to bid on only the first 5 machines let me know and I will do so. Thanks. VIP (3/25/2008)

Response: Hawley ZIP = 18428 and 18438
Distance from Lancaster is about 150miles (3/25/2008)

Question: ok I will talk to them and see. Do you know what time each location opens. Like I said I know they can do the ones in Hawley, and they can proably bring you back the one from MN as they are going just south of St. Paul. The ones in lancaster im not so sure about but I will talk to them, but if you can let me know what time each location is open. They could be in either location very early around 6-7 am
(3/25/2008)

Response: Any feedback from brother and dad?
Earliest possible pickup time is 7:30am - will that work for you? (3/25/2008)

Response: thanks for keeping in touch and I apologize for not getting back in touch with you last night, we had a pet emergency. I talked to my brother and they really aren't interested in going down to Lancaster, but I want to thank you for your great communication.
thanks
jason
(3/26/2008)

Response: Hope the pet thing worked out for you ... sorry the Lancaster run won't.
I appreciate the time and interest.
It looks like I may have found my hundred-dollar-per-machine guy anyway.
Thanks again.
Tom (3/26/2008)
