This was my grandmother's piano and it was very special to her so I want to keep it in the family. Her house is up for sale and I need to find a way to get it down to Baton Rouge where I live before the house sells. I am in veterinary school so money and time are very sparse and that is why I am unable to go and get it to bring home myself. I am looking for someone who can bring her piano down to me for a reasonable price and will take great care of it. Thanks!
Additional Information: I am not sure of the exact model or specifications, but I do know it is an old Baldwin upright piano that I believe is relatively smaller than others. Report a Violation

Hello. Are there any steps or elevator at either location? Could we pick up between 12/4 and 12/6 and deliver between 12/5 and 12/7? Thank you.Report a Violation
Response: The piano is on the first floor of my Nana's house in Raleigh and there are steps. I just thought about how if you have a very large truck, the driveway is long and narrow so it may be a tad tricky depending on your vehicle. Those dates work for me, but I need to work out with my Great Aunt in North Carolina to see if she will be able to meet you there at that time to let you in to get the piano. The house in Baton Rouge is one story and no steps, but everything is one level. I will post another response after it speak with my aunt tomorrow about the dates. Thank you!11/22/2013Report a Violation
Response: Thank you. I'll await your response before bidding. Could you find out how many steps she has? Our truck is a 26' box truck with a 13' 6" vertical clearance. Are there any big, low-lying branches that would prevent us from going down her driveway?11/23/2013Report a Violation
Response: Sorry to keep you waiting, but we are waiting on a response from either my aunt or the man who is cleaning up the house to make sure they will be able to meet you at the house on one of those dates. I'm pretty sure someone should be available to let you in. There are 8 steps from the front porch down to the ground and I think a few less if you decide to take it out the side door. My mom says that there should be enough clearance for the truck to make it up without any issues, but if not, they guy cleaning the house has a trailer he can load it on with you help that he can bring it down the driveway on to get it to the truck. I don't think it should be an issue though. I will hopefully have an answer by tomorrow afternoon to confirm those dates. Thanks again for your patience and consideration!! Those dates work fine! My great aunt will be able to meet you to let you in the house!11/24/2013Report a Violation
