Question: What are you willing to pay? Understand we have to pickup the item then drive the miles to RI and then to your house. Al that takes time and fuel. Response: It is this type of shipment I am looking for where the mast is piggy backed to another delivery as I realize shipment of the mast by itself would be double what I paid for the mast. I can pick up the mast where you drop off the boat in RI if necessary. I can make the round trip for $200 not counting my time so I was hoping bids to be $200 or under. (7/29/2007)
Response: Tomorrow, Monday the 30th, I will get conformation and location of delivery in RI, on boat shipment in the morning. At that time, if it is pracitical for you, I will contact you through this site, and let you know what I can do. I believe we can make this work at or under the $200.00. Alot will depend on the ease of pickup and delivery. I will be leaving from Va. Beach area and normally go thru Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to Eastern Shore, on up to RI. Yorktown is not on my route, but we may be able to make arrangments for pickup. Do you have anyone that could transport the mast from Yorktown to Suffolk/Chesapeake off of I664? Response: The individual has agreed to buy the boat and have it shipped. The dealer is waiting on certified funds before they will release the boat. They should receive those funds in the am tomorrow. I will leave tomorrow evening assuming they release the boat. When I have comformation I will put in a bid and you can accept and then we will be able to communicate by cell phone. I can meet your brother soon after I know I am going.
