Question: Ok, thanks for answering my question. Just one more before I bid, are there any elevators at either location? Thanks again! (7/15/2009)

Response: There is no elevator at the NYC location. There is a freight elevator and a loading dock at the Washington DC location.
Also, we are in a 2 bedroom apartment right now but are only moving a 1-bedroom apartment's worth of stuff. Our roommate is in the second bedroom and isn't moving.
Thanks! (7/15/2009)

Question: Hello there. We just finished moving 2 other medical students from st vincents hosp nyc to nashville. Check our feedback and let us know if you want us to give you flat rate bid. There are no other charges to think about. (7/16/2009)

Response: Hello!
I would really like a bid from you as well. We are moving from a 2-bedroom apartment but only we are moving, our roommate is staying. So the amount of stuff is less than a typical 2-bedroom apartment would have.
Also, the place in NYC has 2 flights of stairs. The place in DC has a freight elevator and a loading dock.
Thanks! (7/16/2009)

Response: We can give you a flat rate bid of 850.00. That is our truck & 2 men & blanket & shrink wrap service & what ever time it takes. No extra hidden extras. We don't disassemble or assemble or do any packing in boxes. let us know. (7/17/2009)

Response: Thanks!
1. Can you guarantee delivery by Friday, August 28?
2. The only thing that might need to be disassembled is the bed. Would you want us to do that for you?
3. There are 2 flights of stairs at the NYC location. There is a freight elevator and a loading dock at the DC location. Does the flat rate still apply?
Thanks! (7/17/2009)

Response: We would p/up early enough in the day to ensure same day delivery if at all possible. From nyc to D C we know is about 5hr trip. (7/17/2009)

Response: Ok great, that would be perfect! The only limitation is that at the DC location, the building restricts unloading to 8-4 during the day.
Thanks again! (7/17/2009)

Response: With that fact there,we3 wouls try to p/up your order on thurs early am and right down. If we didn't make it in time we would be there friday am at 8 am. Does that sound like a good plan? (7/17/2009)

Response: That sounds like a great plan, and would fit with our own timeline perfectly. Let me discuss this with my partner and we will get back to you.
Thanks again! (7/18/2009)

Response: Look forward to hearing from you soon. Hope your plans are going smooth. (8/6/2009)

Response: Hello again! So we have made a couple small changes to our shipment - we have decided not to take the double dresser nor the TV cabinet. How will this affect your bid? Also, just wanted to confirm - you will be moving the furniture items & boxes listed in our shipment into your truck, as well as shipping them to DC, correct? Thanks so much!!! :) (8/7/2009)

Response: We are confused by what you are thinking. Did you see thoroughly our total feedback. You would never asked that. This is a total product move start to finish. We just don't disassemble or assemble furniture. We can reduce the bid by 25.00 if that suits you. (8/7/2009)

Response: Sorry! We asked simply because another company that had submitted a bid just revealed that they would only ship our furniture & boxes but not move them into their truck. So just wanted to confirm! Yes, a reduction by $25 would really help out. We will be making a final decision by tonight/tomorrow. (8/10/2009)

Response: Hi there. Don't know what happened to our response to you. We will handle your move from loading our truck to going to Dc to unloading our truck down there. We don't give your belongings to anybody. Did you examine our total feedback? You would never asked that questioned if you did. (8/12/2009)

Response: Hi, got your response about this, and also the one following regarding knowing the exact number of boxes. Thanks for your reply...have gone through your feedback now and are happy to confirm with you! (8/12/2009)

Response: Does your confirming mean your going to accept our bid? We ask so we can get ready to communicate after bid acceptance. (8/12/2009)

Question: hi, can this be pickedup on aug, 16 and delivered on the 17th? $575 (8/1/2009)

Response: no we cannot move before the 26th. Also there is a change to items listed-we no longer are taking the tv cabinet or double dresser but are taking a light bookcase (8/10/2009)

Response: I understand, thanks for your advice. (8/13/2009)

Response: You're welcome. So, will it be possible to lower your bid to $700? We are anxious to finalize this process.
Thanks again! (8/13/2009)

Question: hi i live 76 miles from d.c. i can do this all in the same day if eveything fits in a 15 foot box truck. we can cram everything in big that fits and if you have a couple boxes left you could put them in a car. do you know if everything would fit in a 15 foot box truck. any of those three dates would work great if i know in advance. if i have to make 2 trips the price would be higher but pickup and deliver all in a day. will there be help loading and unloading. i had hernia surgery i can lift a little but not real heavy stuff but can offer my truck service. let me know. thanks kevin (8/3/2009)

Response: sorry to hear about your surgery. We do require somebody that can lift heavy boxes unfortunately, especially as we live on the third floor of a walk-up. Thank u anyways and good luck. (8/10/2009)

Response: if there is help there i can do it for $1000 on the same day. pick up and deliver all the same day. i live 80 miles from dc and 240 miles from ny. let me know the hernia is heeled and lifting lately hasn't been a problem. let me know (8/10/2009)

Question: Hi there. Very nice messages. We are quite sure you don't want your belongings " cramed " into a tight vehicle. Everything should arrive safely like when it leaves. (8/4/2009)

Response: hello we just logged in to see that your bid for $700 had expired or was canceled! we had decided that we would definitely like to confirm with you however. we are all ready to do so now. could i please request you to re-bid so that we can accept it and proceed? thank you. (8/13/2009)

Response: As we stated yesterday. We were waiting for you to accept the bid and you decided to wait for your communication with your " 475.00 bid contender to make his bid to you". Wew had someonr witing for the slot also from nyc at the same bid as was originally stated to you. They needed an answer by 6pm last night. Sorry you took too long to get back to us. Maybe next time you will have the opportuniti to enjoy our great services. Best of luck on your move. (8/13/2009)

Response: Hi there!
I think there was some miscommunication. You said that you would wait for us to get back to you. When we were ready to finalize the payment last night, your bid was gone!
Does this mean you are no longer available on those dates? Are you available on any other dates? We are ready to finalize the bid and make payment. What about pickup on August 26 and delivery on August 27? Is that a possibility? Of course the original dates still work best for us (pickup on August 27 and delivery on August 28).
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks! (8/13/2009)

Response: We will have look at our schedule to see what will work well. At the moment we might only be able to p/up your order on am of the 28th and then go down with thw choice of getting down there in time to unload or doing it at sat am. We will have to get back to you later today and let you know for sure. (8/13/2009)

Response: Ok, thanks for getting back to us so quickly.
Pickup on August 28 would be fine, but unfortunately, the building in DC only allows moving from Monday-Friday, so unloading on Saturday wouldn't be an option.
Another possibility is picking up on Sunday, August 30, and unloading in DC on Monday, August 31. Is that possible? Unloading on Tuesday, September 1, is also a possibility.
Thanks again for your patience and your help in working with our schedule! (8/13/2009)

Response: We will have to look deep into our schedule but your thought about the mon 8/31 and unload 9/1 looks to show very good promise. will let you know a s a p . (8/13/2009)

Question: Hi are you still looking for movers can we pick-up the week of 20th or 21th and delivery the 22th i will charge $450.00 let me know (8/11/2009)

Response: We are looking, but we need pick up on the 27th and delivery on the 27th or 28th. Are you able to do this for $450? And is this a flat-rate bid or hourly? Just want to make sure there are no hidden fees...! I should also mention that are not taking the TV stand nor double dresser but are taking a light (IKEA 'Billy') bookcase. (8/12/2009)

Response: yes $450 flat rate no hidden fees but we can only doing this weekend next week we not sure will be in the area (8/12/2009)

Response: oh that's unfortunate as we can only move into the building in DC on 8/27 or 8/28. we would have been so happy to confirm your bid! :( (8/12/2009)
