YOU WANT 4 MOVERS FOR 2 DAYS AND YOUR DECLINING BIDS THAT WILL ONLY PAY THE GUYS $100 A DAY PLUS USING THEIR TRUCK. YOU WONT GET HELP THATS ANY GOOD FOR LESS, GOOD LUCK AND SORRY FOR YOUR LOSSES.
I need a bid that is by the job not by the hour. Plus the bids I recieved were Per day, one was 1 day 2/movers $120 an hour at $880 the other higher. My mom wants a job bid. I have yet to get a bid for 2-4 movers for 2 days. Thanks and let me know if you want anymore information3/24/2008
Do you have your own boxes and packing materials or do they have to be provided as well? Rob fezziwigwhse
Hi Yes we will have all our packing materials, boxes . . .3/27/2008
If you still need help I'll bid when I get back into town in a couple of days. Thanks, Rob fezziwigwhse 3/29/2008
Sounds good - just let me know Thanks3/29/2008
I'd be willing to help 8 hours per day+/-for 2 days. I worked for FedEx so I know how to handle boxes! My dad is a retired steelmill worker so he knows how to load and unload material, we are both careful. I have a covered Dodge 1500 with an open trailer or a covered Ford 2500 dually with an open trailer. It's tough pricing this ... I estimate about $100 in gas, rountrip, 2 days from High Rolls, NM (east of Alamogordo) $350 for two guys for two days, comes out to about $10 an hour/8 hrs per[content removed - To avoid confusion on the part of the customer, TSP’s may no longer mention “uShip fees”, "uShip commission", or similar language in their Q&A – this will now be a flaggable offense as bids must be all inclusive. -uShip]s. (so roughly $500 for 2 guys for 2 days/8hrs per day give or take) = $500 roughly. You have your listing set up as per hour + truck fee, not as per job?
Hi - Thanks for the bid. Could you work 2-3 days if needed? I think 2 days will be enough but not sure until we dig in. Can you & your dad move furniture also? We are fine with the truck/trailer and can work out all the details when we talk. We are familar with U-Ship fees - I had a U-Ship accepted bid done last Sept - not a problem. The bid sounds good - I just wanted to make sure that your dad can lift furniture. You can work week days . . .
I have friends in for the weekend and will have you an answer no later then Tuesday most like Monday. Thanks again - look forward to hearing back3/29/2008
Hi, currently in Albuquerque, we can both move furniture, but may I ask what the largest pieces of furniture are? I'd only prefer working two days vs three days because of the drive. I am flexible as I sell on ebay, my Dad is too as he is retired .. so any days/times are usually ok.3/30/2008
The things my mom wants to move to storage:
2 bedrooms suits (we are giving away the matresses), antique living room suit (7-8 pieces - light stuff), formal dining room set (heavy stuff)-antique Table, chairs, side tables and buffett(the antique buffet is the heavest piece of furniture in the whole move - I think. It comes in 2 pieces top & bottom), Office room - antique rolltop desk and chair, and a few curio cabinets. We hope to have 2-3 additional people from her church to help with things - that is in the works. Our plans are to be there Wednesday to open the place up (it has smoke damage) let it air out, pack some boxes and organize what we need done. Then have you come in on Thursday & Friday from 8AM - 6PM to move things to storage - times can be a little flexible.
We would like to accept your bid and work out all the details via phone with you. Thanks Patti3/30/2008
Sorry for my late response, I was up in Albuquerque.
So, my calendar is filing up fast! I will be in Albuquerque again on Tuesday the 8th, my Dad and I could work both the 9th and the 10th, Wed & Thuursday as originally requested.... then again I will be gone from the 11th-17th (this is a last minute event that came up, I am going to be in a movie with Jack Black!)
Geez, I hope that works for you? If not, that is ok, I understand.
No problem that works great - just send the bid and I will accept. I leave tomorrow for New Mexico so if you could send today I will be able to work out all details and get with you on the phone.
The movie sounds like fun! He, Jack Black, is VERY funny - you should have a great time. You will have to fill us in on your adventure! Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks Patti4/2/2008
