Question: Hi; I'm Mike with Get-M-Home Transport, Could you be more specific On how many animals you want to ship. We normally supply the Crates, we are extended van full of crates of all sizes. Response: I have about 25 hedgehogs and 17 tenrecs (some are older, so losses could happen before the move) and these can be combined in some of my cat carriers that stack easily. I have two cats that could transport in the same carrier (they love each other and would probably be less stressful if they are together). I have a 55 lb English bulldog, an 80 lb mutt and a 100 lb German shepherd (all are gentle). I plan to move in mid to late June (as soon as the house is clear). More questions, please ask. I think I might be able to pull this off myself, but with so many things to do, if I can see to their comfort while I work out the other stuff, all the better. (3/26/2008)
Response: Hello; This is Mike again, sorry I had to step out for a while. That sound pretty much like a full load. Your dogs and hedgehogs, and cats would ride in perfect comfort, but would prefer to use our crates. I will place a bid. Thank You, Mike/Get-M-Home (3/26/2008)
Response: I'm still trying to get an exact day when the house will be vacated. How long would it take for you to get my animals to me? I will have to be sure to arrange for you to pick up and to be sure I am at the house to receive them. Per Mapquest it taks about 30.5 hours. I need to know what would be involved, and if you will be available when I have the exact dates. Also, I have to be assured the hedgehogs would not be mixed up, pedigrees on them to remain correct is important. Pat (3/29/2008)
Response: Good morning, I am Tonda, the other half of Get-M-Home. Our quote to you for the above mentioned pets would be $2200 all inclusive except for their brand of food. I see you allready have a much lower bid and understand the logic of economics, however we deal EXCLUSIVELY with pets, nothing else so as to insure your kids with a safe and comfortable journey. Question: Good morning Pat, We can be available on your specific date but will need a 2 week advance notice. We will leave the hedgehogs in the carriers you provide. I will need the dimensions of those carriers so I can re-arrange the van accordingly. You've mentioned that you will be taking some of the animals with you. Can you give me a breakdown list of exactly who will be coming on board with us? Trip will take approx. 3 days, depending on how many potty breaks, and kids we have to potty, feed and water, will play a large part of how our time is planned.
