Question: How many roping steers are there and what kind, and how many rabbits and chicken in how big of cages. thanks (9/21/2009)

Response: there are 17 steers in total.....we would be willing to trade 1/2 of them. I will check the weights. Rabbits and chickens are in small cages about the size of dog carriers
(9/21/2009)

Response: Are the roping steers first year or second year cattle, and how many cages, and how big. when would your preferable dates be. (9/21/2009)

Response: steers are second year, can be used for steer wrestling, approx 600 lbs, still nice to rope. Add 1 goat to the load. I'll get a total on cages by the a.m. The smaller steers we will keep they are about 400 lbs. (9/21/2009)

Response: When were you looking at moving them? I wouldn't be interested in more then about three steers. If you can get $450 for them you should just take it and put that towards transport. Thanks (10/6/2009)

Response: Would you be more interested if we lowered the price to $400 a piece...? (10/6/2009)

Question: Hi please see profile and feed backs A+ rating. Could you please give me a break down as to number of steers and sizes. Will the three horses be going as well. Small animals are not a problem. To make this shipment I would like to do in two trips. The cost of the trip that I place will be for both trips. Please let me know if this will work for you. Thanks, look forward to working with you. (9/29/2009)

Response: we are waiting on the vet to arrive and get all the paperwork ready....but yes we are going to book with you......we really would like to get the price down to $3800 though (10/12/2009)

Response: Thanks,I will place bid for as close to $3800 as I can get. Look forward to working with you. (10/12/2009)

Question: Hello, this Amber with Painted Sky Transporters, we would like to place a formal bid to transport your horse and your roping steers, all in one load, plus we would consider a lower price for transport, in trade for some of your roping steers. The best time frame for us would be anytime from the end of OCT-NOV would this work for you? Also, do you have a target price in mind for the transport? And how many steers are looking to trade? What is the value that you would put on them for a trade? Thanks and I am looking forward to hearing from you, Amber. (10/5/2009)

Response: We have ten steers (600 lbs.)that we would trade $350 each. They generally sell for around $450. They are big enough for bull dogging and have been used a bit for that and we have roped on them. That would leave to ship 4 horses, (2 geldings, 2 mares), ten smaller steers (about 400 lbs), and if possible 2 goats and some chickens. I would consider it an even trade. (10/5/2009)

Response: Thanks for getting back so quickly, unfortunately this transport is a lot of miles, so it is not likely that any transporter will be able to do it for much cheaper then the bid you have already declined (which was for a very fair price). This trip would take the use of our entire trailer (which would include the transport of all your animals 10 steers, 4 horses, goats, chickens and rabbits) but we normally charge $2 per mile for the use of our entire trailer. If we were to trade for some steers, we would have to do subtract a certain the total price of the steers, in trade from our transport fee, so that we would be getting some cash and some steers, in trade. We also would only want 2-4 steers, because they would have to fit on the trailer with your animals, so that we would not have to make another trip to get them. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks, Amber (10/5/2009)

Question: Hello, when are you looking to ship? Do you have cages for the rabbits and chickens? How big are the steers? We have a trailer that should hold everything. Have a 24x7x7 stock that we have had 12 head of horses in. It has 2 cut gates. The price for the whole load would be $3000. Maybe interested in a couple of steers in trade for part, what are you pricing steers at? If we may be of service to you please let us know and we will place bid. Thanks M & E (10/12/2009)

Response: yes, we have cages for chickens and rabbits. The steers we have for trade are $350 each, (about 600 each) We have ten of those. We are keeping the smaller ones. (10/12/2009)

Response: The load will take two trips for me did not realize the number of steers, the best quote we could give you would be $3500 for both trips. However is any part of the load ready to go? Either the horses or cattle (the goats, chickens, rabbits, ect.... would have to go on next load) we will be loading just north of Orlando Oct 13 and could pick up a part tomorrow or next day. would love to earn your buisness and come to an agreeable amount. Would like at least 5 of the steers. If some of stock could go in next day or two may take all 10 in exchange for the haul. What is your time frame to get it all hauled? Thank M & E (10/13/2009)

Response: we cannot do do it tomorrow the papers are not done........
do the steers, rabbits, chickens, goats need papers? (10/13/2009)

Response: Let me check on them. If not we would have enough room on trailer to take the steers. Let me check on the laws with Dept of Ag tomorrow and get back to you in the AM. Do you know when horse papers would be ready? Could wait day or two if close or if price is good with you we can place bid and figure out all the details over phone. Have to deliver horse in OK but can be back in FL by end of week. (10/13/2009)

Question: Sorry wwe quoted you the wrong price. The as says 6 steers. did not realize there were 20. Would still like to earn your buisness. Could get all of it in two trips for $1750 a trip. It would take 2 trips. Still may be interested in a few steers in trade. (10/12/2009)

Response: We would be interested in doing the trip in exchange for the 10 steers. The vet comes on the 19th. We need to know what you want to do about the steers so we can get papers on them as well.....or just leave the ten steers for the last shipment? We could send everything else first? (10/14/2009)

Response: Not sure who to talk to in Florida get papers on cattle, ask the vet they would know. How big are the steers you are keeping and how many are there? (10/15/2009)

Response: the vet can do all the paperwork. We just need to know how many you want before we move them all. Our 6 steers are about 400 Lb (10/16/2009)

Response: We will move your herd in exchange for the steers the only thing you will need to pay is the uship fees so we can get contact info for each other. If you are only needing to move 4 weight steers I think we can get all your animals in one load. We will just have to come back for the ones we take for payment. Is there a place to keep those for a week or two so we can get a load back down there to pick them up? (10/16/2009)

Response: Let me make sure we are on the same page here. You will take the ten steers in exchange for moving the 4 horses, 6 steers, 1 roping dummy, 2 goats, 6 rabbits and chickens? (10/16/2009)

Response: Yes we will haul your stock for the ten steers [content removed - To avoid confusion on the part of the customer, TSP’s may not mention “uShip fees/commission”, or similar language in their Q&A and bids must be all inclusive. -uShip] and get all the health papers. (10/16/2009)

Response: WHEN CAN YOU PICK UP AND DELIVER? THE VET ARRIVES MONDAY TO DO ALL THE COGGINS AND HEALTH PAPERS (10/16/2009)

Response: As long as you are only taking 6 steers with you we can get your herd in one trip. We will only have to go back for the payment steers. (10/16/2009)

Response: Ok we will place the bid at $3000 to cut down on your uship cost but will take the ten steers as payment. (10/16/2009)

Response: what is the approx. fees for uship? (10/16/2009)

Response: It is a percentage of the bid. When a shipment is booked you ship requires a the shipper to put down deposit. Not sure of what it is for we are still new to uship. (10/16/2009)

Response: My dates are pretty open. The trip won't take more than 3 days. Can pick up middle to end of next week or whatever are the best dates for you. (10/16/2009)

Response: Okay.....go ahead and send the bid, and I'll get the fee's paid. I'll let you know when the coggins and vet papers are ready. (10/16/2009)

Response: Has the bid came through yet? We have placed it just hasn't came through on my end yet. (10/16/2009)
