Questions for this shipment:

Question: when is need to go and are you the owner? (9/23/2008)
Response: Yes, I will be the owner when it is time to ship the boat to Florida. I am now in the process of purchasing this boat and expect to be ready to ship it around October 24th. (9/24/2008)
Question: to be legal this boat requires flag cars in two states to be legal-be aware. gerali (9/24/2008)
Response: Thanks for the tip. I figured that flag cars would be a requirement. (9/24/2008)
Response: when you get near ready let me hear from you search my authority at www.safersys.org search dot #163577 then company profile. (9/24/2008)
Response: gerali, Thanks again for the tip. You're being very helpful by providing this info. -Grant (9/25/2008)
Response: keep me in mind when you are ready. gerali (9/30/2008)
Question: Would you consider having me motor your boat down to FL? (10/1/2008)
Response: The boat draws 7' 2", and the bridge clearance is 56'. What route would you consider taking from Chicago? (10/2/2008)
Response: The mast would have to be stepped. The route is down the IL river to the Tenn-Tom and then over to St. Pete across the gulf. (10/2/2008)
Response: I considered a water delivery earlier, but I already have trucking bids that are near my target price. Bringing it down on it's own bottom would be a last resort if the land shipping doesn't work out for whatever reason. I have to ask: I assume you are a licensed captain and have several deliveries with references? Your uShip profile doesn't really contain much. (10/2/2008)
Response: No problem. I am a 33 foot boat owner in the Chicago Harbor system. I have made one delivery in the past and was looking at doing the Great Loop. Good Luck. (10/2/2008)
Question: My bid is for in-water delivery. Have license/crew/ability to move vessel where she needs to go. Captain Ed. (10/5/2008)
