Additional Information: This is a very small manufacturing operation that is in Windsor, ON that we are moving to Santa Barbara/Goleta California departing Windsor March 25-26. There is Canadian customs paperwork required and I am researching preparation of pre-clearance via a customs broker. All the better if you already have a reliable broker. Estimate entire shipment to weigh 2750-3250 lbs including boxed contents of storage cabinets. As of 3/2/09 there is the possibility of a mill as well that is likely 4'x5' & 750 lbs added to above. Questions for this shipment: 

Question: Would all fit in a moving truck with a box 8x8x24ft with lift gate or one 7x7x26ft with ramp? I should be there in less that 3 weeks. (3/2/2009)
Response: Thank you for your inquiry. Our shipment date has changed from March 12 to March 25 or 26. I think that all of the equipment & boxes would likely fit in about half of the 7x7x26 or 8x8x24 box although if we don't break down the workbenches it might take more space. But I am now being offered a mill as well that I do not know the footprint (maybe 4'x5') or weight (750 lbs?). I will let you know as soon as I get confirmation of maker and model. There is a forklift in Windsor & I can rent one in Goleta, CA if necessary. Do you have a customs broker that you use for crossing into the USA? I am currently researching brokers. (3/2/2009)
Response: Unless I have something to do within a 1000 miels I may not be able to do wait until the 26th. I have a great broker and a SCAC code from US customs. I was red flaged once for giving my brokers info so lest wait on that. I am a great packer and I can make everything fit. (3/2/2009)
