Response: yes. we just purchased the unit with the hope of driving it back. we had it surveyed by a local service center. unfortunately, i just had emergency surgery and will not be allowed to drive for four more weeks. if you are still interested, i can give you the contact at the service center. thanks for asking jim (9/11/2007)

Response: hi Dan the diesel tank is 60 gal. the motor home is self contained. you're welcome to use the shower and bed. you may need to add potable water. we have a cleanout here. do you need a tag? I haven't had it transfered yet. i'm hoping to do that here. if not, it will take a few days to get the paperwork done. thanks Jim (9/14/2007)
Response: Thanks for the notes. Just wanted to explain my bid in case there isn’t room in the bid box. I bid starting with a full tank of fuel, to protect myself against fuel costs and estimated miles per gallon. I would top off the tank before I start the trip and give you the bill. The price is all about paying for the fuel anyway. I will deliver it to you with about ¼ tank remaining so your first stop will not be the gas station. I would not use your RV for anything but a nap and I will bring my own sheet to lay on. There may be a chance I bring a buddy with me to drive straight thru. He has flight bennies also and has driven cars with me before. I live in the Detroit area and just may fly home out of Miami. I have a snowbird car from Michigan to Nokomis Oct 12th anyway. Question: Just so you know part of my bid will be the cost of renting a car from Marathon airport to get back to the Venice area. It's 260 miles.
