  • Trip Desciption:We are currently in North Texas and have been stuck here for 2 weeks due to our car being stolen and totaled. We are just trying to find a ride home.We live between Nashville and Chattanooga Tennessee and can have someone to pick us up in either of those cities or off I24 in between. My son's school started July 20th so he has missed a lot of school already. We need to get home as soon as possible.
Additional Information: We have our Schnauzer with us who is a well behaved traveler. He loves to go. Report a Violation

Response: The 70's music is the greatest music ever! ANd I sure wish you had something to go that way for. I mean I can pay up to $150 in gas but I am pretty much broke from being stuck here two weeks. (8/19/2008)
Response: have you tried greyhound? sometimes they can be very reasonable. or even drive away service... book a car that needs to go from TX to TN get the owner to leave the tag on it and drive it to it's location.. tell someone you will do it for the cost of fuel. just trying to help. (8/20/2008)

Question: Hi, do you still need a ride? I'm going to be close to Wichita Falls tomorrow or Friday at the latest. Wichita Falls is close to Gainesville. I would be willing to give you and your son and dog a ride if you would pay for the gas. It's impossible to say what the gas would cost without knowing the price per gallon. 150 might cover it, not sure.
