Sir, Please know that this is not a pick up truck move. Thsi is a mobil home you need permits and route surveys. At 60ft long you are also going to need pilot car. Contact the mobli home park for qualified mobil home movers. save yourself the heartache. Report a Violation
Response: Thank you, I know this isn't a pickup truck move - why did you think so? I posted this here as I figured this was the place to find someone who is professional enough to do it.3/6/2009Report a Violation
Response: The only reason I said something is because the responses you are getting are carriers that are trying to used 1/2 ton and 1 ton pick up trucks. I was watching out for you. I didn't want to see a situation go bad. I move heavy equipment and speciality vehicles Oversize and this is a very special move. Best of luck.3/7/2009Report a Violation

This is something that can be towed off the ball on a tow package and not from the 5th wheel out of the bed correct?Report a Violation
Question:
3/11/2009
If it is not a 5th wheel i can tow this, If it was rated that high they would of made it a 5th wheel unit. I have towed many items that was over 14,000 and had no problem. If u feel this would't work then good luck with you transport.Report a Violation

I have a flatbed that I want to take to california City from LA. Is there a way I can send you the image for the truck? Also can you get the permits yourself and I just pull you mobile home? Also, I'm a contractor and can make all repairs that you will be interested in whence the house has been dropped off.Report a Violation
Response: What size is your flatbed? I am getting quotes for the new owner and I don't think they will have the money for repairs right off the bat. Thank you,3/14/2009Report a Violation
Question:
3/24/2009
Hi Melody, We are professionals who specialize in transporting factory built homes and I must tell you that I am very concerned at the questions and responses you are receiving. This move will require a specially equipped truck (mobile home toter) with a professional driver who is experienced with this type of move. The mover needs to have Intrastate Authority (different from USDOT Interstate Authority) from the California DOT, needs to obtain proper permits, arrange for pilot cars as needed and needs to be properly insured for secondary moves of manufactured homes. This is by no means a compehensive list of what you need to look for but hopefully you can weed out some of the losers, some of whom cannot even spell "mobile home." By no means should the transporter require you to obtain permits - if they ask you to do this it means they don't have insurance or are not properly licensed and authorized for this type of move. Good luck, Maralyne Middour, Elite Mobile Transport, LLCReport a Violation
Response: Thank you so much but the move is complete and by a professional. Thank goodness! And yes, I have to agree with you - I was shocked at some of the responses I got with guys with 250's and 350 pu's!! 3/24/2009Report a Violation
