Thanks for your bid, I like your feedback too. We're a service provider, like yourself, & just need help with this load, & if things go well we can hopefully network in the future. I'm concerned about the space, but you know the space of the Suburban & how you would load it. But I have listed all the items that we picked up in WA, so if you think it will all fit then I'd like to trust you on that. Keeping regular, reliable communication with you is very important to us, so that all necessary information is conveyed & our promise to the customer is upheld. We're making nothing on this load by the way, the customer refused to give a deposit on this, but he has been made aware that the balance due is payable PRIOR to unload. We have another shipment going to Houston that isn't very much, but it doesn't sound like you'd be able to do both. Is your pickup time definite? The owner will be leaving on another run around the 1st & we'd like to know for sure that this can off w/o any problems.
Well, the timing is pretty accurate. I'm leaving Houston on the 1st. I have to go up to Laramie WY and I'm then returning home. Not a real complicated trip. As far as room goes, it's hard to say. This 'burb is going to be up on my trailer and is NOT being driven . You pretty much get the whole interior including the front seats. It is pretty big in the back of a 'burb once all of the seats are folded up. I will have a little room in my other Suburban..which I will be driving. I guess we can use that for an overflow if needed. I think we are fine, but I just can't guarantee 100% that it will all go. I could guarantee it if a few things could go outside on my trailer as a last resort. All I can say is that I will pack it as tightly as possible.
I think we would like to go with you, but when do you need to know by? I also think that the outdoor stuff (lawnmower, bike, leaf blower, edger) could go outside on the trailer, and given the other suburban for overflow and creative loading techniques (lol) it should work. Thanks for your prompt attention.
No big rush on my end. I'm starting my trip on the 1st with or without you. I guess thats when I need to know. I hope that helps.
Also do you know of any other reliable carrier that could take our other Houston shipment? Thanks for any ideas on that.
All of the guys that I know are flagrant liars as far as timing goes. They WILL deliver your stuff, but it may be 1,2,3 weeks late. I don't recommend them anymore because I got tired of looking bad. Sorry, I know that isn't what you wanted to hear. Darrell
LOL it's not what I wanted to hear, but what I have found to be true myself. Wish you had the room, anyway, I'll just hope for the best from my listing. I will accept this in the next day or so. Thanks for all your time. Aliya
I just found out that there are 4 tires, which could obviously be moved on the trailer too, but I realize this may push your space limits. Would you be able to do it for the same bid amount, or would you have to increase it? Thanks~ Aliya
Just got back from a quick trip over to Louisiana. Anyway, yah the 4 tires are OK. We can pack stuff around somehow. Darrell
