Response: Hello and thanks for your offer, but if it must be driven, then I will have to drive it myself for insurance reasons. I can license and insure the truck to be driven, but I can only insure me, the owner as the driver. I'm willing to go up to $1,550.00 to a trucking company and am waiting a few more days for the appropriate bid. Ranger5183 had made a bid of $1,550.00, but my regular shipper, Swenson Trucking said they would do it and then backed out at the last moment, because they only have 45' step deck trailers and they didn't know how it would work out. Actually, the morning I went to accept ranger5183's $1,550.00 bid, the bid had expired. Ranger5183 came back with a $1,650.00, but $1,550.00 is my line in the sand. It’s unfortunate that by trying to be loyal to one trucking company another gets the wrong message, but, it is what it is. I've called the SS Badger Ferry line and they'll take on the truck for $300 -- saving me the drive around Chicago. Again, thanks! (8/22/2007)

Response: ok, I was going to use the ferry also. If the only prolbem is the insurance for the drive away. I use a few different companys I could ins. for the trip and your name would go on all paper work to pay if thair is a loss. Our bid would around 1250.00 with inc. (8/22/2007)
