Questions for this shipment:

Question: (8/3/2006)
Question: Would you let me tow it to Lexington, KY and then load it on a trailer if I went slow? I have 45+ trucking exp. (8/3/2006)
Response: My concern is obviously for the bearings, but also for the hulls of the boat. They would take a pounding over a long haul. Remember, these are ten inch wheels. I would prefer not to, but would consider your request if the cost savings were significant compared to others and if I were able to contact hauler during trip and be guaranteed that stops were made to check bearings and maybe ad grease. Would require an inspection of the hulls and a short trip around the block behind my truck to assure no damage to trailer. I realize that may be asking a lot, but the whole idea is to get the boat to my house in as good condition as it was when it was picked up. (8/3/2006)
Question: Thank you but we only do boats that are on their own new trailers. Good luck and be sure to hire a legal and insured carrier---Eric@Steelhorse (8/3/2006)
Response: Thank you for your comments. I will adhere to your advise. (8/5/2006)
Question: This is trucker3828. Yes, that would not be a problem for me. I am trying to put togather a good load to save you money! Waiting for KY shipper to accept my bid! (8/3/2006)
Question: trucker3828 again! I have air ride truck and I am leased to DOT carrier! (8/3/2006)
Response: If you can load and off-load boat and trailer, then I don't see a problem as long as there is no damage to boat. Will the mast (see photo) hinder the rest of your load?. Please note that the pickup date has been changed to Aug. 20th at the earliest. Does that fit your schedule? If so, please submit your bid. (8/3/2006)
Question: 18ft with the mass?if so my flatbed 1400 (8/4/2006)
Response: Boat is 18 ft. Mast (see photo) is 29' 7". Rides above the boat on supports. (8/4/2006)
Question: Hi,I left a responce to the first add, but just incase i live in the clear lake area and would like to move your boat. I move boats for south shore harbor & water gate. i have references to provide, thanks destnations boat delivery. (8/4/2006)
Question: No can do this trip. Must be Aug 14 or 15. Will be going out again. Soon, will be in touch. (8/4/2006)
Response: Thanks (8/4/2006)
Question: Can the boat be P/U on Aug 10th. I have 53' Logistics Air Ride Moving Van with Tie Down Straps And Split Ramps For Loading And Unloading Inside Trailer dismensions are 108" tall 99" wide. Also Whoever you chose please verify they have DOT LISCENSE AND MC# TO OPERATE. You will spend a considerable amount of money getting your boat out of impound if you use someone trying to beat the system and they get caught. Unfortunatly they are here at this website. You can go to this site to verify a companys authority. http://li-public.fmcsa.dot.gov/LIVIEW/pkg_html.prc_limain (8/5/2006)
Response: Unfortunately, the boat will not be ready for pickup until the 20th of August. Right now, the seller has the boat in one location and sails rudders, etc. in another. I want everthing to be ready to go so this is a smooth transaction when it gets picked up. (8/5/2006)
