Question: Hello shipper, what do I need to secure this load for you? I already beat your max price, would you like me to rebid? (1/15/2009)

Response: Sorry, I was sent out-of-state on short notice from my employer, which has caused me some delays in closing the deal with the seller of this motor. I was kind of hoping for an enclosed trailer, but will consider your open one if you have a way to cover it to avoid damage and too much exposure to the weather and road salt. Maybe wrap in a blanket and then a tarp? The seller won't likely be ready for a pickup until mid to late next week, by the way. (1/15/2009)

Response: I brought along a fitted boat tarp from when I used to haul Donzi speedboats. It fits a 16-20ft boat and has a felt lining to it. I would wrap the motor in that. Unless it would be a pouring rain I don't think the motor would even see a drop of moisture. And would definately be kept clean. I had to use the cover to lay on in WI for the trailer I p/u (my last feedback) had some wiring isues underneath so it was quite nice to have the felt to lay on icy ground instead of just the ground. I'll submit my bid again a $130. I would be p/u either 23rd or 24th depending on the hours where the motor is at. Please advise on that, thanks. (1/15/2009)

Response: I don't know as I should give his address for all to see without his permission, and I don't want to get "flagged" (scarey!) by the data cops on this site. He says he is just off route 19, area code 34652, New Port Richey. I hope that helps?
Regards,
Brian (1/15/2009)

Response: Oh, I meant the hours of business operations not the travel time. But thats OK, I didn't make it to clear. Thnaks (1/15/2009)

Response: It is a private residence, not a business. He said "daylight hours" for pickup, any time after 7 a.m. (1/15/2009)

Response: My bad again, I must have flipflopped what I saw for p/u-del points. That will make it real decent for getting it. So its up to you and I will await your acceptance. (1/15/2009)

Question: Hello again, I put in my rebid, but read the other notes I included on there, just a few minor timeframe changes and need to know if seller is available on Sat afternoon the 24th. Thanks
(1/17/2009)

Response: He said pretty much anytime during daylight hours after 7 a.m., but I'll double-check with him on that specific time to make sure. I need to send him payment for the motor, and I'm out-of-town in Ohio through the end of the month (temporary job assignment) and that is tripping me up a bit. The address in 49087 Three Rivers is the plant I normally work at. I'll have to see how if I can arrange someone (I'm friends with the I.T. computer guy there) to meet, sign and pay you when you get there to drop it off. I'd leave you my phone #, but I don't think this site allows that, does it? (1/18/2009)

Response: No it doesn't you'll get flagged. When you accept the bid all info is traded. It will give you my cell #. And hopefully all yourcurrent info where I can get hold of you. I will be making a few trips to IN when I return so you can just tell me when the best time to meet you at your home address is. I need to resubmit my bid it expired again. Your seller will need to be paid by Sat when I p/u. And I will need to know by Wed if you will you use me or not, I have a few things going to p/u and need to allow enough time in my return schedule to keep all appointments on time. Thanks Mike (1/19/2009)

Response: Okay Mike, I'll let you know. I hope to be able to break away from work here at some point today to hit the Post Office and send the seller a money order. My home address is a little northwest of Three Rivers - it is zip 49087, and we live out in the country basically near the southwest corner of Kalamazoo County. If you were to deliver it there during the daytime, no one would be home and I'd have to leave you a check. (1/19/2009)

Response: All sounds good, I can't be reached today after this. We're going down to Everglades, no internet. Will contact late tonight if you accept. Thank You. Mike (1/19/2009)

Response: Hey Mike, I'm accepting your bid. So how does this work, anyways? It says I'm paying a $19.99 deposit now, plus the uShip service fee (that's new, isn't it?) of $41.00, and then I pay you $110.01 directly. So does this $19.99 go to you as well so that you get your entire $130 when it is all said and done? (1/19/2009)
