Response: How many days is a bid active? I have lost 2 bids already because the bids expired. I asked questions of each bidder each of which remained unanswered. Do I have to jump at the bid without getting my questions answered? I will accept your bid, but want to know if the bike must be boxed and when you would pick it up and when would it be delivered? Response: Hi Hiram, I clicked on the accept button and was told I have to make a deposit. I guess I misunderstood, but thought I had asked you how I could pay. I was under the impression I could pay you directly by check. Now I understand uShip wants me to pay ~$20. I wrote Michelle and asked her what to do--the account that has money does not have a Visa check card so that I can use it as a credit card. Do you have any suggestion? I have a PayPal account, but the same problem would arise with them it seems. I have never used it and don't know how. Any advice would be very helpful. Response: Hi Hiram, Thanks for getting back to me so fast. I do accept your bid and can pay you direct. The computer will not let me accept as I have to pay the $20 to uShip. I am still waiting to hear back from them. Is that going to be ok with you? If I can mail it to them or pay by digital check I can certainly pay the $20, it's just a case of how. Can you get in touch with them and explain my problem. I wrote 2 emails to them around 1:00 EDT this afternoon asking the same question and still have not heard back. Problem: The checking acccount that has money in it does not have a Visa Check Card. The checking account that has a Visa Check Card has no money until 10/24. I have a PayPal account but don't know how to put money in it. I need to know how to pay them in time if that the only option. I may be able to get someone to let me use their credit card and pay them the cash. Is it alright to finish this up tomorrow and still have a deal with you? Thank you so much (10/12/2007)
