Question: Are you shopping for prices, bidding for me now will not work if you not planning on moving the load for several weeks. (7/14/2009)

Response: This would be within the next 2 weeks (7/14/2009)

Response: Thanks for your fast response, I will look at bidding closer to the end of the week to have a better feel of what trucks running this lane will cost. Many thanks Mike @ Riverbank Cargo Solutions. (7/14/2009)

Response: Let me be honest with you, I'm looking to pay b/w 1750-2000 a load if this is good for you I may be able to gauruntee at least 4 loads over the next few months. (7/14/2009)

Response: I will see what I can do but it will be tuff at around a $1 per mile. This is well below national rates. (7/14/2009)

Response: I know....see what you can do...let me hear what you can do. (7/14/2009)

Response: I will see what I can do, is there any time constraints as to how fast loads need to be delivered after pickup, this can help if there is more time to deliver. (7/14/2009)

Response: I would have to check with my customer but I'm pretty sure I'd be able to give you at least a 5 day window, once i get the schedule setup. (7/14/2009)

Response: No promises but I will see what I can do. (7/14/2009)

Response: please let me know asap...as I really need to get a fix on my trucking costs before I close this deal. Can you give me a time frame when you can give me a definitive answer (7/14/2009)

Response: I will try and see if I can get you a answer Wed. (7/14/2009)

Response: any updates? (7/20/2009)

Response: I wish I had news for you but it is so hard through this forum to get these done. I had two drivers that would do these loads but need certain dates so they could plan there lanes. I tried our rail service and they were of little help(none) Going across the border for your rate I feel with anyone I deal with at this time and you needing this price for more than one load is impossible. I can get work for more money for the carrier you lined up, this is a very low rate and I do not see someone wanting too do this times four a month. If I can help you in the future please let me try, thanks Mike@ Riverboat Cargo Solutions (7/21/2009)

Question: Will you or your customer be taking care of customs paperwork and processing or do we need to add that to the price on our bid? (7/16/2009)

Response: that's an excellent question and the truth is i don't know... why not give me 2 prices 1 with processing and one without. (7/17/2009)

Response: Thanks for your quick response. Also I need to know how this is packaged and the weight and value in order to provide you with an accurate customs rate. For example. 12 cases per pallet, 24 boxes per case. each box weights 13 oz and cost per box is $9. OR 20 totes per pallet, each tote contains 23 lbs of oat and cost $120 per tote. (7/17/2009)

Response: I believe my vendor will be handling the customs stuff so please give me a quote for the trucking.
FYI I'm looking for 1800-2000 for the load. I will guarantee at least 4 loads over the next 4 months.possibly more. (7/17/2009)

Response: I will get you the best price I can, but I know you are not going to get this moved for $2,000 or less. This would only be $1.17 per mile and for border crossing freight that is extremely below market prices. I will give you a quote of the best price I can do, but I know it will not be that low. I doubt you will get anyone to dot it for that unless they want to loose money to move your load. (7/18/2009)

Response: you may very well be correct, however i have already got a price close to where i need to be....i'm just trying to get to exactly where i need to be! (7/19/2009)

Response: What is the lowest price for this you have that you are wanting beat? (7/30/2009)

Response: 2100 (7/31/2009)
