Questions for this shipment: Ask a Question

Question: we can ship this for 4000.00 (5/17/2009)
Response: Hi, I was planing on sending it around August. Would that be ok? (5/18/2009)
Response: The rate could change in august but at this time rate is the same. (5/18/2009)
Response: Hi, sailing time should be around the first week of August. The Boat will be on a trailer in Portland Oregon. Just so I get it right: For approx. $ 4.200 you pick the Boat up in Portland and ship it in a Container to Bremerhaven, Germany. What are the charges on Insurance, Tax und such? Thank you, Konrad Geiger (6/25/2009)
Response: i would need the value of the boat to determin insurance. The quote is as it stands. (6/27/2009)
Response: The Value of the Boat is about $ 8500. I will like to make this deal, so how would we procede? Do you pick the boat up in Portland und deliver to Bremerhaver, oder do I need to do anything? (6/28/2009)
Response: insurance will be $100.00 for full insurance. (6/29/2009)
Response: OK, that sounds good to me. (6/29/2009)
Response: Well let us know when you are ready. (6/29/2009)
Question: Hello, When are you looking to ship? (5/22/2009)
Response: Hi, I live over in Germany und will be in the States from July til August. I was hoping to ship it at the end of our vacation on the 7 of August. My family lives in Portland so it wouldnt be a problem to ship after that date. (5/22/2009)
Response: Great! Portland is beautiful....Those dates should not be a problem. Keep your bid open and I will keep you updated on any rate changes that happen until you are ready to ship. Enjoy your family/boat. Thanks! (5/22/2009)
Response: Hi, it might be a little early still, but there are few questions I have about the boat. I am a US Citizen living in Germany. After the boat is in Germany, does it make more sence to leave the boat licend in the US or have the boat changed over to German Tags and Licensing? I sill want to pull it around europe and sail different parts of europe. What would it cost either way? Thank you very much and see you soon in Portland, Konrad (6/11/2009)
Response: Hello, I don't know German laws.....but I have a guy that I have moved boats for in the past has a car in Greece that is still licenced in NY that I am bring back.......I think he had a power of attorney writen up. I don't know if that is much help! (6/11/2009)
Question: How high and widht does the boat get with the trailer? (6/29/2009)
Question: Hello, Following up....how is everything coming together? (6/30/2009)
Question: Please let us know if you still need our help 2 ship (7/7/2009)
Response: Thank you for asking. Yes, the shipment is still planed around the second week of August. I would like to ship around that date, but there is no rush to germany. Just so understand: The Sailboat is in Portland Oregon on the West Coast. The Boat is on a Trailer and will be picked up by your company and sent to Bremerhaven, Germany. You have sent the price on insurance already and your price for the bid is known also. Are there any other costs, other than the UShip Fee? As you can see on the picture, is does not have a keel so it is not very tall. thank you, Konrad Geiger (7/8/2009)
Response: Yes we will have no problem putting this into a 40ft container. When you drop off at our warehouse you will see we have over 20 bays and capable of handling this move. (7/8/2009)
Response: That sounds good to me. Where is your warehouse? Thank you, Konrad (7/8/2009)
Response: Warehouse is located in Seattle. (7/8/2009)
Response: Very good. Would you want me to bring the boat up to Seattle? I cant seem to find your Bid. Could you please send me your bid so that we can close up this deal? Thank you, Konrad (7/8/2009)
Response: warehouse located in Seattle. (7/8/2009)
Question: Sorry got confused but yes we have an warehouse in Portland as well. (7/8/2009)
Question: Portland is closer please drop at that location once bid is confirmed. (7/8/2009)
