Response: Timing seems about right, but I do have a question about the cost. When we discussed transporting the G35 from Bloomfield NJ to Houlton, you quoted $750. Distance is about the same from Northport, so just wondering what bumps the cost up another $250? Thanks Chris (3/26/2008)

Response: Sure thing. I do want to get back to the seller relatively quickly with some shipping data. Can we try for end of day Thursday? Also, I'm planning on talking with the seller today, what do you think the timing would be like in terms of what day the car would be picked up, and what day it would be delivered? Next week is a little frantic for me, as I am in seattle for much of the week until Thursday, and have a board meeting on Friday... Can you go through border customs on Saturday with a car? Response: I will have a bid for you Thursday night. What I most likely do is leave here on Friday, pick the car up on Saturday morning and be back in Houlton on Sunday. If you are driving the car throught on Sunday it's no big deal, you just pay the taxes and the RIV fee and away you go. Todd (3/26/2008)

What I need to do on my end is make sure that I can get everything in place in time for your planned trip, as paperwork needs to get to the border 72 hours in advance of the car. To do that, I have to get everything done this week and early next, and I'm also traveling to Seattle on Sat until Thursday (so some of it I will be doing from my hotel room in Seattle)...
