Questions for this shipment:

Question: hi there what is your target price? thx6493 (8/22/2007)
Response: The dealer that has the boat originally quoted me a price of $1.50 a mile but both of his normal transportation companies said that they could not move a boat as large as this one when they took a look at it. So the original price that I was expecting would have been around $300 to $350. From the quotes I've received from this site and others it would appear that something around $2.50 to $3 a mile is closer to the actual cost. So $525 to $650. (8/23/2007)
Response: ok here is the price 537.18 yhis includes all fees and i cover ins at no cast to you. sounds good let me know and i will place my bid thx6493 (8/23/2007)
Response: Sounds good, but I can't accept the bid until the boat has had its marine survey which is on Monday 8/27/07. Assuming the boat passes the survey I'll close on Thursday (8/30) and the boat would be ready for shipping Thursday (9/6) or Friday (9/7). (8/23/2007)
Response: ok i will go and place my bid and i hope to hear from you soon thx6493 (8/23/2007)
Question: Hello, you may want to check with the state of AZ as to whether or not any permits are needed. Randy (8/23/2007)
Response: I know that the oversize permit is required. Beyond that I do not know. (8/23/2007)
Question: hi i saw your boat yesterday, i was in havasu droping off a boat, and to hang around the house for the weekend. Nice boat, is there any problems with taking the 72 to vicksburg road. From there it is only 85 miles to phoenix on the 10. Going that way avoids all of the checkpoints and all you do is put a wide load sign on. I had a 28 foot edge water that was a wide load, i went that way to mesa and was not botherd at all. I am not sure if arizona will issue a year permit as california dose for boats like yours. Well let me know if you need more bids. Thanks Ryan... (8/27/2007)
Response: I don't know what the best route would be. I've never had a boat like this moved. I do know that AZ-DOT does issue 4 day oversize permits, but you have to have a commercial license in order to apply for one. Survey on the boat is today, should know results in a day or two. thanks (8/27/2007)
Response: That is a pain, there is alot of people that probablly find out that they cant tow there boats after spending big bucks, well i think it will be fine it is a short ride, i dont mean to be a rule bender but that boat is not that wide i was never stopped when i was towing my edge water. Let me know i will work you a deal i have to go back to phoenix within the next week or two. (8/29/2007)
Response: I was never planning on towing the boat very far. Originally it was going to go up to Page and be a L&R boat. Once at Page it will only go from dry storage to the Lake and back and that is handled by the marina. We decided that instead of rushing the boat up there for just one or two trips we should bring it over to Phoenix and get it ready for next season over the winter. So that is why we're having it moved to Phoenix. The survey went well but there was an issue with the sea trial. Assuming the issue is taken care of I'll be moving forward with the purchase but it maybe delayed by a week or so. (8/29/2007)
Response: That is a good idea to keep it around for the winter, couple lakes near by to put around in to. That is a great Boat for Lake Powell. Been going there for 20 years, hope the water level goes back up. Good luck with the issues with the boat talk to you soon. Ryan (8/29/2007)
Question: Hi shipper, we just placed our bid. it includes permits and our commercial ins.. $1 mil liability with $100,000,00 cargo. I have a CDL and can obtain proper oversize permits to move your boat. let us know...thx Doug (8/30/2007)
Response: Thanks, Survey came back good, just setting up a closing date now and will be ready to have the boat moved sometime next week. (8/30/2007)
Response: Great let us know if we can be of service, thx for your quick response. Doug (8/31/2007)
Response: Update on the status of this item: Closing may happen this week (Friday 9/7) but it is looking more like next week on Monday or Tuesday (9/11). It will take the dealer one or two days to get the boat ready for transport so it would be ready around 9/13 assuming everything goes as plan. I've changed the end of this listing to 9/21. Thanks for all of the bids. (9/4/2007)
Response: ok thanks for the update we are still interested. Doug (9/5/2007)
Question: We are good on the transport. Will be in arizona on the 17th. Let me know if you still want us to do this. Thank you (9/9/2007)
Response: What time on the 17th would you want to pick the boat up? The dealer closes at 5pm. How is payment handled? thanks, Bill (9/9/2007)
Response: I am picking up a boat in tennessee on the 15th and will have it in arizona on the 17th, around what time, I don't know. If the 17th don't work, can we do the 18th? Payment is cash on delivery. No deposits, no cancellation fee. Thank you (9/9/2007)
Response: Either the 17th or 18th would work I just need to provide a time to the dealer so that they know when to expect you. Which works better for you? Bill (9/9/2007)
Response: It would be during thier business hours. We can talk about all this over the phone. (9/10/2007)
