Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi if your still needing your horse shipped i will have a truck in your area this weekend and have room for 2 more horses. So if u need let me know asap and we can work it out. Thanks Lucious (4/11/2008)
Response: It may be perfect. My horse is 16.2, about 1000-1100. Can you tell me a bit about your trailer? Are you willing to administer Ulcer Guard to him during the trip? Are you licensed for trailering (I'm sure you are, I just need to ask). Will you be laying over, or is it a straight run? What are your stops like? Lastly, can you fit a small trunk and two bales of hay? Please let me know! Thanks in advance for answering! Chris (4/11/2008)
Response: Hi yes i can fit all your stuff! I have a 36ft show trailer enclosed featherlite!Yes we are professional and we can do whatever you need done just let us know!We have two drivers that will be going and they will stop for 30mins to an hour for fuel and water for the horses! If you have any request just let us know and it will be done if we can!I have plenty of ins. and i run under a TXDOT and USDOT number! Hope we can work something out because the truck will be leaveing in about 30mins. Thanks Lucious (4/11/2008)
Response: Hey Lucious, When will you be arriving, then in the Chana area? I will need to contact the barn owners ASAP (that's lingo you know. . . I retired in 2001 from the Air Force). Most horse drivers stop every 3-4 hours to check on the horses. Do you put straw or rubber mats down? Do the horses have hay? (4/11/2008)
Response: Yes they will have hay for the whole ride! My trailer has rubber mats in the whole stall! This is a show trailer with everything to make a horse feel like he is in a hotel! (4/11/2008)
Question: Hi i was just checking in because the truck left last night and will be in IL. later today or early Sunday! By the way i know the terms you were using yesterday because i am a former Marine! Let me know ASAP if i can help Thanks Lucious (4/12/2008)
Response: Hi Lucious, I am very interested. My biggest concern is lack of experience with handling horses. You mentioned stopping for 45 minutes or so to get gas and water the horses. This is not enough. My horse is older and a straight -through trip will be hard on him. I've got two other shippers that I could go with, both with tremendous experience, both leaving later in the month. I am concerned that this will not leave my horse adequate time to acclimate to the heat. The advantage with you is that my horse could be here in a few days, but you've given me no indication of how quickly you will actually get him here. I understand you have lots of towing experience. Hauling horses is a whole different ball game. I need a warm fuzzy from you before I give you the go ahead. (4/12/2008)
Response: Hi i was checking to see if you still needed your horse shipped i will be in the area next week!I know we had a rough start the last time but i can assure you that your horse nor you will be dissatisfied with my trailer or my services! Thanks Lucious (4/25/2008)
Response: Hi Lucious, I just saw your message this afternoon. Adam is literally in a trailer on his way down as I write this. Best of luck with your shipping business. I will keep you in mind for other shipping needs in the future. All the Best, Christine (4/26/2008)
Question: Hi i have about 25yrs of hauling horses! I grew up on a QH ranch and we transported horses all over the US! I have a 36ft show trailer with rubber floors! They will have more than 45min. to rest and water that is just when we stop!We stop to get fuel every 200 or 300 miles! I can promise he will be fine! I have $500,000 in ins. Thanks Lucious (4/12/2008)
Response: O.K. I am just a bit nervous, that is all. I didn't realize that you are in this trip. I presume you are, then, one of the drivers. Please write back ASAP to confirm. I am ready to bid. (4/12/2008)
