A little out of our budget, can you do it for $2500? That is all we can afford, as it is just an old tractor we bought for less than that? Thanks.

Are you hauling this with a full sized semi/trailer? If so, I have a farm disk/legal height/width I need picked up at Bucklin, KS, which is on the same route here-according to Mapquest. Can you pick it up on the way here and bring it also? The people at both locations will load both the tractor and the disk. The disk is about 15' long and only weighs around 5k #'s, so would go on same trailer as the tractor. together they both weight around 20k #'s. They both are load and go-no waiting on either end. Picking it up only adds a couple of hours to the load and on the same route to here, so no extra miles. We are only 38 miles from Houston, so lots of good freight here for your backhaul. If you can do this, i will agree to your bid and you can pick up the tractor asap. Thanks.
Good Morning, The quote is for the tractor in Alberta only, and we are a canadian carrier so we are legally only allowed to ship from canada to the usa, or usa to canada, not points in between. However, IF we were allowed to make that additional stop, it would come with additional pay because you're taking up more space on the trailer. Our quote does not buy you the whole trailer, only the space for your tractor. And yes, we will be using a semi/trailer. You will need to make sure there are facilities to load and unload as well. Talk soon, Nick
Nick, Thanks for your quick reply. IF you could pick up the disk, it is at a small JD dealership in a small western KS town-Bucklin with a loading ramp, so they would simply fire up the tractor, drive it off, hook up to the disk and drive it back on, less than an hour to do and I doubt anyone would say/report you for stopping. I understand the additional charge and would be willing to pay an additional $250, as that is about what it would cost me from here to go get it with my own truck. As I said earlier, it is right on your route here, so no extra miles and we are only 38 miles from Houston, so good freight here. Let me know what you think asap, as I am ready to ship today!!! Thanks.
I understand your suggestion but I can not risk our company licensing over one little shipment, and certainly not for $250... I would suggest you just go pick that unit up yourself, and I'll take care of the one out of Alberta. If that doesn't work then I'm sorry to say that I will have to decline the business based on federal regulation and moral core. Nick
