Questions for this shipment: 

Question: Hi, I need some information before I can provide an official bid. This is an unusually large, deep and tall sofa (9 feet X 4 feet x 4 feet approx.) From experience I can tell you that you may have a problem getting it into your house IF, you do not have a wide enough door or double doors at your residence,(most single doors are only 3 feet wide. Also, is there a clear path from where we would park our truck to where you want it placed? Our price of $350 would consist of a simple (Level 1) pick up and delivery,(Level 1) means 2 of our experienced movers would lift and carry the sofa out of the store and into the truck at origin and out of the truck and into your house at destination, WITH OUT having to spend more than 10 to 15 minutes at each end. For cost effectiveness and quality purposes we should not have to move other furniture or items to effect pick up or delivery, we WOULD NOT have more than 2 men available, and we would not be equipped or prepared for hoisting or rigging, etc (5/18/2008)
Response: Hi. It is large, though the buyer knew the dimensions prior to purchasing the item. On my end it would be less than 15 minutes. I'll have it shrink/plastic wrapped and at the front door where there is a 20 min loading zone and double doors. So its in and out in Santa Barbara. The buyer is paying for the delivery so I would quote to them 350 and give them the info you gave me about circumstances which would incur additional fees. Thanks! Jennifer (5/18/2008)
