Additional Information: 2002 Malibu Wakesetter Ski Boat on Trailer. Boat is winterized, shrinkwrapped, ski tower is collaped, wrapped, removed, and within the boat. My 1st choice is of course an enclosed trailer. 2nd choice is secured on a flat truck or on the lower level of a ramp style truck. During transport, The boat can NOT have anything resting on top, leaning against, or otherwise touching it as I dont want it scrached or damaged during transport. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello. I will have a driver heading out to WA to pick up a 2004 Malibu and towing it back to TN. He could TOW yours out with him the second week of Nov. We have been contracted to the TN Malibu plant for over 15 years now(CHECK PROFILE). Thanks for your time and consideration. (10/29/2005)
Response: Thank you for your quick response. I am a 1st time USHIP user so I have a few questions. My 1st choice of course is to have the boat transported on/in a trailer. If towed, does a shrinkwrapped boat run the risk of losing it's wrap over a long distance like this? Also, do you run the risk of damage to the boat? ie: rock chips, road tar, etc? What is your price for towing the boat on it's trailer? Addionally, my home is literally 1.5 miles off I-90 (and very accessable)just east of the Seattle area. Would you be able to deliver the boat directly to my house? Am I allowed to contact you via phone with other questions? (USHIP policies) Thank you agian and looking forward to hearing back from you. (10/29/2005)
Question: Shrinkwrap is a very good thing. It prevents a lot of road damage. If the shrinkwrap is put on correctly it will not come off. Malibu uses a shrinkwrap with a drawstring that tightens up to the boat and then heated. When we deliver from the factory the boats are shrinkwrapped and prevent a lot of potential damage. We load 1 boat on top of the truck and tow 1 boat, so 1 boat is always being towed. Even on a trailer you take the risk of road debris. Yes, we would deliver the boat directly to your house, that is not a problem and is expected! (ph) [Removed Contact Information] Thanks for your time. ;-) (10/29/2005)
Response: Please tell me the best time to call. 5:30 west coast time now. Thank you (10/29/2005)
Question: Hello are you sure of the width of the boat.I do not know of enclosed trailer that wide. (10/29/2005)
Response: I will double check the malibu website for boat specs....then I guess add 1 foot either side for tires on the trailer? Thank you for your quick response (10/29/2005)
Question: Now is fine! Thanks (10/29/2005)
Response: Thank you (10/29/2005)
