Questions for this shipment:

Question: I can tow your trailer and boat. I can pickup on dec 29th and deliver on the same day. I can do this for $800. (12/21/2005)
Question: I can pick up the 26 and deliver the 27th for 850. (12/21/2005)
Question: I CAN DO THIS FOR $700 NEED TO SCHEDULE ASAP THANKS (12/22/2005)
Question: we will pull your boat on your on trailer. If you load your boat and trailer on another trailer it will be to high and you will need permits along with laoding and unloading cost. (12/22/2005)
Question: I have a 14000gvw stright truck with a hitch making a delivery the week following christmas to Va beach and returning to Annapolis, MD. Your load would be ideal to haul back. I am an experienced class A CDL driver w/ 10 years experience hauling everything upto oversized bull dozers, excavators, boats, barges, cars etc. My straight Truck hauling your boat on your trailer I can do for about $700. You boat and trailer on my trailer is much more expensive considering loading and unloading and the fact that it is not as convient because it would only be a 1 way trip for me. Cost about $2500. Either way get back to me as soon as you can so I could plan if nesessary, Thanks Merry Christmas -Dave Campbell (12/23/2005)
Response: Dave, Thanks for your response. Please note that this is considered an oversized load, particularly by the State of Maryland. If you can do this boat and trailer (valued at $36,000) - including all insurance- for $700, the job is yours. (12/23/2005)
Question: Hi, are the engines winterized? If not, would you be willing to consider delivery of the boat by water under it's own power, and delivery of the trailer separately? I have 20+ years experience with sail and power boats on the Bay and offshore. Regards, Chris (12/23/2005)
Response: Chris, We've decided against delivering it by water simply because we still need to deliver the trailer. Its not cost effective. (12/23/2005)
Question: Hi, I understand. I guess what I was trying to suggest was that I would deliver the boat, while my wife hauls the trailer (if it is not a wide load in MD) for your offer price. Alternatively, if you guys want to run the boat up, I can deliver the trailer for $300 if it is MD legal. Tow vehicle is a Ford Excursion. Regards, Chris (12/23/2005)
Response: Sorry, Chris. The trailer is considered a wide load and needs permitting, particularly in Maryland. I'm really looking for a person who can handle a large load. Thanks for the look. Happy Holidays. (12/23/2005)
Question: Hi, no worries. Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and tight lines! Regards, Chris (12/23/2005)
Question: Permits in MD for an oversize load usually run from $50 - $150. Is the boat over width or over height and also what type of hitch is on the trailer? VA is pretty lienent about oversize loads but as you know, MD is a tough state. My bid of $700 is excluding permit fees and they will have to be added to the final bid price. If your still interested I'll need width and height measurements so that I can apply for permits witch usually takes a day or two to get in MD and i'll also have to check with VA regulations. I require 10% down plus permit fees before hauling and most likely the hauling will take place during non rush hours also excluding sundays and holidays. I'm trying to put this load together by the end of this week or the very begining of the new year. Once you accept my bid I can send you proof of insurance and any other information you may need. As soon as you confirm the measurements and I can work up a total deposit for the permits I will place a bid. Thanks -Dave Campbell (12/24/2005)
Response: Dave, The boat and trailer is 10' 0" wide. The height as it sits on the trailer is 12' 0" . Sorry for the delay. The holiday and all. Regards Jon Klapper Potomac Yacht Sales (12/24/2005)
Question: We have the cargo insurance to cover your boat. (12/29/2005)
