Response: I am only able to purchase one ton from the last lot of this product. The new lot of product won't be ready for about another month. I don't have enough product to last until the new lot is produced. Running out of product would present great risk to the horses I feed this to. A ton will last approximately 3 months. Late this week or sometime next week would be ideal for shipment. Thanks for your query. (7/15/2008)

Response: I completely understand, I am a horse person myself. We own a horse rescue here in SW Washington. I would love to be able to charge what you paid for the last shipment but with the cost of fuel at $5.00 a gallon I can't. My truck gets about 15 mpg and going over 520 miles, insurance and road tax as well as a hotel stay I wouldn't make much. I can do this for about $650. Is that workable for you? I can pick up on Friday morning and deliver Friday evening. Scott (7/15/2008)

Response: Scott, so you operate an equine rescue? Awesome! I understand that the logistics of shipping the pellets here would require a day here, overnight, and a day back. Rather than you paying for a hotel in Arco I could offer you lodging. I have a spare room and you'd have the company of a fellow horse person. I'd love to discuss 'rescue' with you as well as introduce you to 'my' herd. I did receive a quote of $495 from another shipper but really I'd rather put the $$$ in your pocket and save you the hotel expense. Friday (or even sooner as the order is ready to go) would be fine. Response: Scott as you run an equine rescue I would accept a bid of $575. I would rather the $$$ go to you and your efforts even if it is not the lowest bid. Keep in mind I will be happy to put you up overnight and talk 'horses'. There are some logistics to be worked out with pickup however. When do you want to pick-up the load?
