Questions for this shipment:

Question: We want to move this where do I need to be at in terms of pricing? (1/8/2008)
Response: The uShip price estimator showed a value of $385. I'm still learning about this method of getting freight shipped. Thanks for your interest. (1/8/2008)
Question: Hello From SS Expediting, Do you Just have the one pallet? Thanks Rich (1/8/2008)
Response: Yes for now this would be just the one pallet unless I can get a better deal on two or more. Thanks for your interest. I will probably need some lead time to have the product produced. (1/8/2008)
Response: Thanks for the response back, Just keep me informed of your schedule and I can get this transported for you no matter how many pallets, Thanks Rich SS Expediting (1/10/2008)
Response: Right now I'm looking at purchasing one or two tons (e.g., one or two pallets) of this product. I'm afraid I don't have any more storage room then for two tons right now. The cost for the product is just under $500 per ton. I'm considering the difference in shipping cost between 1 and 2 pallets. I have to make this cost effective shipping wise. Did you provide a quote for this to me? Thanks! (1/10/2008)
Response: I am trying to get this all lined up. I will get back to you. I would be going on monday is that to soon for you?Rich (1/10/2008)
Response: I don't know whether the manufacturer has two ton of these pellets in stock. I was told they need two weeks notice to ensure supply. I will check with them but I also need an affordable quote. Thanks! (1/10/2008)
Response: I will have to see what is lined up and to see if I can get 2 pallets on, Check to see if they have 2 available and let me know. thanks Rich (1/10/2008)
Response: Rich, for a change I'm being pro-active. I just sent an e-mail to Mid Valley Milling to see if they had two pallets in stock and to try to work out payment arrangements. I will still need a firm bid for this before I can accept. Thanks. Darrell (1/10/2008)
Response: Thats not a problem. Before I can give you a firm bid I must hear back from my other shipment so I know that the truck will be in your area for sure. Hope to know soon. Rich (1/10/2008)
Response: Acknowledged, I will await your "firm" response. Thanks! Darrell (1/11/2008)
Response: Ok thanks and soon as I know something I will let you know too. Thanks Rich SS Expediting (1/11/2008)
Response: I have accepted a bit for shipment from another shipper for this upcoming week. I want to thank you for your interest and apologize that we were not able to do business this time. If this product works out I will probably be needing another shipment in about six months. Perhaps we can do business then. (1/12/2008)
Question: Can this be picked up today or tomorrow 1/09 - 1/10? See my profile for company/vehice information as well as 100% positive feedback. (1/9/2008)
Response: I was told by the manufacturer that they need a lead time of two weeks so today (01/09) or tomorrow (01/10) is not workable. Thanks for your interest. (1/9/2008)
Question: going that way next tuesday could do it for 525 let me know thanks (1/9/2008)
Response: The manufacturer has to have a lead time of at least two weeks and I am still getting a feel for bid levels. The uShip estimator showed a cost of approximately $375 so your bid seems a bit high but then I got one bid for 1125! I'm still on a learning curve with this. Thanks for your interest. (1/9/2008)
Question: this is newby_hauling we have room for up to 6 pallets for the same price let us know and we will rebid your shipment (1/9/2008)
Response: The manufacturer needs at least a two week lead time to make the product. If you have room for up to six pallets it may be more cost effective for me to purchase more than just a single ton. I'm still trying to get my arms around the total cost for this. Thanks for your interest and am curious to what your bid will be. (1/9/2008)
Response: hello the price would be the same 6 pallets at the same price of 2.00 per loaded mile which comes to 1002 to us.and waiting two weeks isnt a problem for them to get it all ready.there is no hidden charges such as fuel surcharges ect as you have with brokers. (1/9/2008)
Response: Right now I'm looking at purchasing one or two tons (e.g., one or two pallets) of this product. I'm afraid I don't have any more storage room then for two tons right now. The cost for the product is just under $500 per ton. If I had the room and $$$ your bid for 6 ton would be wonderful but that's not an option right now. I'm considering the difference in shipping cost between 1 and 2 pallets. I have to make this cost effective shipping wise. $1000 for 2 tons of product is not cost effective for me right now. Thanks for your interest though. (1/10/2008)
Question: i can haul one for 345 if that will work thanks (1/10/2008)
Response: Your offer to freight a ton for $345 is in the range of the uShip calculator. Right now I've contacted the supplier to ensure that product is available for pickup. I am awaiting a response. How much more would you want to ship a second ton? Thanks! Darrell (1/11/2008)
Response: I CAN ONLY GET ONE TON ON MY TRUCK NOW LET ME KNOW IF THIS WOULD WORK WHEN YOU SAY ON PALLET IS IT BULK IN PALLETT OR IN A BAG THANKS BRUCE (1/11/2008)
Response: As soon as I hear back from the manufacturer Mid Valley Milling Co I will let you know. I can get by for at least six months on a ton so I'd be okay with that. If I relocate this summer purchasing just the single ton might be better as I won't have to move a bunch of feed. Thanks! Darrell (1/11/2008)
Question: i am a farmer for 34 years what are you feeding this to thanks bruce (1/11/2008)
Response: I have a pony mare that has been diagnosed with Insulin Resistance (IR). She has to be placed on a low Non Structural Carbohydrate (Low NSC) diet. All she's been being fed this past year is a grass/alfalfa mix hay, no grain, fresh grass or anything else so it appears that the hay I purchased for the year is too high in sugars. The only way to control IR is with diet and some mineral supplementation. Thanks for your interest. Darrell (1/11/2008)
Response: I COULD GET TWO ON FOR 650 THANKS BRUCE (1/11/2008)
Response: The pallet is 40 - 50 lb bags. Sorry I didn't answer in your last question... (1/11/2008)
Response: that would work out great for me thanks bruce (1/11/2008)
Question: what did we find out thanks bruce (1/12/2008)
Response: I didn't receive a response from my e-mail two days ago. I sent another e-mail this morning asking when they could have a pallet ready to go as well as working on payment arrangements. Do you want me to accept your bid now or when I hear back from them? Thanks! Darrell (1/12/2008)
Response: that would be ok i would like to come down next week if that would work and can you pay me cash when i bring it/? THANKS BRUCE (1/12/2008)
Response: Now that I've accepted the bid from you I had to pay a "deposit" via uShip. You should be receiving some kind of information now via uShip confirming this. I will be happy to pay you cash on delivery when you arrive. According to the contact the shipment will be ready as early as Tuesday, January 15th for pickup. Thanks! Darrell (1/12/2008)
