Response: Hello! Thanks for your question regarding our move. Our questions: (1) can you move us on 10/31/09? (2) can you accomodate the 2 separate locations which we are combining? First location is apx 28mls from the 2nd location, the 2nd loc is apx 6 mls from the final destination. (3) how many people will you arrange to handle the moving? Response: Robert..we are moving a washer/dryer, entertainment center and round dining set w/ 4 chairs, two piece couch, dresser, 2 end tables, two bookcases, plants and a(4 x 5) painting from the home in Peoria, and furnishings from a three bedroom home in Phoenix to a new place off of Baseline with two floors. The w/d go upstairs as do the beds...no stove to be moved ...looking to move either the weekend of 10-31 or 11-06. Hope this info helps. Mitch (10/15/2009)
Response: O.K. With the 2nd home to move as well, it will be too difficult to nail down a flat rate. I can move you with a 20' x 8.5 x 7' enclosed trailer for $55 an hour and no charge for the use of the trailer. The weekend in Oct. works better for me. Thank you. Robert (10/15/2009)
Response: Hello Robert - Thanks for your reply. We are very interested in contracting with you for our move, but would like to see if we can arrive at a more concrete dollar figure. What more info can I give you so we can arrive at a more specific bid? If distance is a consideration, I can tell you that from the 1st home to the 2nd home, it is apx 28 miles; from the 2nd location to the final destination, it is apx 6 miles. To recap, the 1st location is a one-level home from which we'll move a w/d, 2-pc couch, a 3-pc wood entertainment ctr, 2 light bookcases, a light dresser & 2 end tables, 3 good sized potted plants & apx 15 boxes. The 2nd home is a 1-level 3bd home we are moving in its entirety; largest item is a standard refrigerator. The weekend of Oct 30 still works well for us.
