Question: I can do $90/hr. for a three man crew with a minimum of two hours + $10 fuel charge. If you can submit a list of items at our website, we can get you a low flat rate. Thanks!- David, AB Moving (5/8/2008)

Response: Here is what we need. Move will be on May 31st, from 3rd floor apartment in Austin 78753 to a house in Austin 78759 - it's about a six mile trip. We are looking for a flat rate rather than hourly, the lower the better - had a bad experience with hourly once, want to avoid troubles. We are on a tight budget, so we must have less than $300. If it will save money, we will transport much/all of the light, annoying little stuff, leaving only furniture and boxes. Furniture is nearly all Walmart/Target/IKEA. My wife and can lift any single thing we own, so you can be certain there is nothing absurdly heavy - no pianos, marble statues, sleeper sofas, et cetera.
Living room/Dining Room - couch, chair, end table, desk, 5 bookshelves, TV and small ETC
Kitchen - washer, dryer
Master BR - queen bed, dresser, two end tables
BR 2 - twin bed, two half-shelves, two bookshelves
Aggregate - 45-50 boxes of various stuff, nearly all boxes are copy paper sized, can be easily moved 3 to a hand-cart a (5/8/2008)

Response: Yes. We are going to a two story house, but if it saves money, we'll move our own stuff upstairs. (5/9/2008)

Response: I spoke with my boss, and, on a flat rate, the best I would be able to do would be $355 with 30 boxes included. (5/9/2008)
