Question: Hi thank you for the bid request I can do this on Wed or Thurs for you. However, my fees would be 600 due to the rise in fuel charges. Your items will be insured and padded blanket wrapped. Will there be assistance in loading and unloading? Thank you for your reply back. (11/26/2007)
Response: Hi! Thanks for your bid. These items were moved to this house to "stage" it to sell. Thank goodness it sold (even if I took a beating) & I know you understand what I mean since you're in PCB. Now I need to move the things up to NC. I moved all the items there in a cargo van (w/ a little room to spare) if that helps you with how much room it takes up. The only thing that took 2 people to load was the sofa. Legs of the sofa have to be unscrewed to fit through the front door. I assume you'd be by yourself & that's why you're asking. I can get someone to help with the sofa on loading & I can help with unloading. I know gas has really gone up, but $600 is a little more than I expected to pay. You have very good ratings so I will consider it. The loose knick knack items need to be packed & won't take over 2-3 boxes. Many of the items I put in the empty trunk/coffee table & moved. Could you box up the knick knacks? There are towels in 2 1/2 baths that can be used to pack breakables. (11/26/2007)
Response: Thank you for your reply. I can have help at the pick up and can pack your knick knacks. But, first will need to know approximately how many boxes I might need and I will need help on the other end as I do work alone but, since I am from this area I would be able to get assistance. Response: It won't take more than 3 medium size boxes if you use the trunk/coffee table in addition. There are a few knick knacks on the shelves in the great room, the place settings you see in the photo at the breakfast bar & some towels, bath mat, & a couple of small artificial plants in the baths rooms. Like I mentioned, the towels can be used for packing & you shouldn't need any paper. That's how I did it when I moved the furniture in. There's a tall brown ceramic pot in the front yard that I listed as a statue (since there was no place to mark pot). If you look at all 3 pictures you will see everything to go except 2 art prints & the knick knacks and towels - pix don't show these, but they go also. In otherwords, it's everything in the house that goes plus the ceramic pot. Don't know exactly where you are in PCB, but you can run by there if you want. 388 Clareon is off 30A about 2 miles west of Rosemary Beach in subdivision named White's Gulfview. The key is under the front door mat. (11/26/2007)

Response: Terry, no bed to move..nothing in BRs. Really...no surprises in this transport....all what you see in the pictures and the other things I mentioned is all that's to be moved since the house is otherwise empty. I really need everything out by late Wednesday as the closing is Thursday. You don't have to bring it then...I just need it all out by then. If you can move it out by Wednesday afternoon and deliver within a week or so and if you'll accept $550 then we have a deal. I had another bid for $500, but I'd rather use you since you're in PCB. Response: Hi Barbara, I am sorry I will need to stay with the 671.00 bid and 600 COD as this will be going up to your area on 30A and then dropping back down, This will cover the insurance, fuel and my labor of packing and getting the assistance to help load everything here.
