Question: Hi, have a few questions for you..is their a keel or is there a daggar board, so the bottom is pretty well flat? I have a 20 ft deck-over trailer and will be in the Louisa area around thanksgiving and could pick it up most anytime and deliver the same day to Indy. Question: Hi Jim, a few more questions and i can submit an official bid. I have been in excavating business and hauling for over 20 yrs, but new to uship and thier bidding process. What is the value of the boat for insurance purposes? Will it be picked up from a seller with you not present? Is a 20' trailer easily accessible to the boat? (Wondering if I need dollies to remove from a building). I could pick up anytime between 11/20 to 11/27 and go straight to Indy. Response: Dee, I am new to Uship too. Boat is valued at $1,250. Yes, the boat is picked up at seller with me not present. I'll have to ask about how accessible the boat is to the trailer, but its not a big boat and shouldn't be that difficult to move in any circumstance. Jim (11/17/2006)
Question: Hi Jim, sorry it took so long to get back with you, was picking up a motorcycle from NJ, got back late. Did you find out about how close I can get to boat? Is is hard surface? In case I don't have help when you need it done, have to put on dolly and pull on trailer with winch. Will probably have to deliver the next day. If you could find out that I can give you a price.
