Question: does this need to ride standing up or can it lay down on its back. I am going with my family to NC on June 26th and then my wife is going to WI for the summer. We can load but she would need someone to unload. I can accomodate either but if it has to stand she would need the enclosed trailer then I would have to figure a price. DO you have a price in mind for both this shipment and the arcade machine (5/15/2009)

Response: Thanks for your interest. I have reviewed your feedback and you'd be a great fit for both the safe and the video game. I think that the first thing I need to ask you is when is the earliest that you can move (a) the safe, (b) the Tokyo Wars video game, or (c) both the safe and the video game? Best I can tell your note to me suggested that my items wouldn't be picked up until July. For what it's worth, I can't wait until July to move these items. OK, the safe can absolutely be shipped on its back, but there is NO ONE on the shipping end to assist in loading. I've used Suburbans and pickups to move these safes and two able bodied people can safely tilt this into the back of a truck. As for moving both the safe and the video game, it is in fact my preference to have the same mover pick up and move both shipments. I would be willing to pay $800 total and max to have one mover safely move the safe and video game to WI, but again, I need this moved in the next few weeks. Thanks, Joe (5/15/2009)

Response: well I will have my brothers my wife with me on the pickup end so pickup is not a problem and we could lay it inside the suburban. I can almost definately do the safe. The arcade game. Will it take up the whole room in my trailer or fit in my trailer. The trailer is 6 feet wide, and 14 feet long and is 6 feet tall.
The earliest I could pick up either is June 26. But then wont be in WI until the first week of July.
We will be going back home for a couple days first

Response: First week of July delivery would be just fine. I estimate that the five peices of the Tokyo Wars video arcade game will take approximately eight feet of your 14 foot trailer. That said, the two TVs are 70" high, so, (a) your actual trailer door opening and the entire length of your trailer must be 72" high and (b) because the height is so close to your trailer inside hieight you'll have to lift those TVs STRAIGHT in (read, you WON'T be able to bring them in on an angle and tip them up in the trailer. The delay in pick up is not my preference. However, I know that I can get a delay in pick up for the safe, but I'd have to get pick up delay permission from the gentlemen who has the Tokyo Wars first, and that very well could be a problem. Any chance that you could do both items sooner? Thanks again, Joe (5/15/2009)

Response: he backed out of both shipments? I know I can definately do this one, I am still wondering about the other where there would only be a two inch clearance in my trailer.
thanks

Response: Yes, he backed out of both shipments. Let's stay in touch as if you can definitely move the safe I may look for someone else to move the video arcade game sooner. Thanks, Joe at armytruckparts. (6/2/2009)

Response: We can plan on doing this shipment for you if you would like. Then we can talk about the other shipment if you dont find anyone else. (6/3/2009)

Response: Hello, I may have found a company to move both shipments. I'll let you know as soon as I know. VERY appreciatively, Joe (6/3/2009)

Question: Hello, is someone going to be available to help the driver load/unload? Price $389.00. Military discounts available. (5/15/2009)

Response: Yes, the person who has physical possession of this safe can rally four able-bodied men to help load this safe so long as (a) you give the shipper a FULL 48-hours notice and (b) your driver arrives within 30 minutes of the agreed-upon pickup time. First shipper backed out of this shipment after stringing me along for two FULL weeks; I can't afford for that to happen again. I've read your feedback and have some concerns; I'd be very interested in your side of the story on those recent negative feedbacks that you have. Thanks much, Joe PS. I'd really like the same shipper to pick up my large video game in Howell, NJ as well as this safe and bring both to Appleton, WI 54914 on the same truck. (6/1/2009)

Response: Hello, we could pickup the Appleton, WI. video game. My truck was stolen about 5 weeks ago. Many shipments were delayed. (6/1/2009)

Response: Thanks for your prompt reply. I want to make sure that I understand your answer correctly. Again, I have two separate items that need to be moved. First is a Liberty gun safe that needs to be moved from Stafford, VA to Appleton, WI. Second is a five-peice video argade game that needs to be moved from Howell, NJ to Appleton, WI. Both items will require a lift-gate equipped truck. Can you move both shipments or can you only move the Howell, NJ to Appleton, WI video game shipment? Very sincerely, Joe (6/1/2009)

Response: Hello, I can move both items. Thank you. (6/2/2009)

Response: Thanks for your reply. Both the safe and the video arcade game will require at least 48 hours notice to the seller - will you provide at least 48 hours notice to both pickup point representatives? Additionally, the previous shipper failed to appropriately communicate with both the holder of the video game and safe, which caused lots of problems and consternation. In fact, what ultimately botched the entire deal with the first shipper is that he failed to contact Joni, who has the safe, the night before pickup as promised and the next day the actual driver didn't call at all and finally showed up six hours late and without the required people to move the safe. Joni has agreed to rally at least four able-bodied men to help move and load the safe so long as (a) she gets the 48 hours notice to arrange the help and (b) the shipper arrives no later than 30 minutes from the agreed upon arrival time. Last, what total price would you charge to bring both items to Appleton, WI 54914? Thanks (6/2/2009)

Question: Hi Joe, we're based in WI and I was just told we'll be in Virgina next week. I am not sure yet what city(s) nor how close to Fredericksburg as of yet. I read thru most of what is here, but this truck will NO BE going as far north as NJ, as we have other routes that head east for that area and I'll have to see where they will be next week. Please advise if I should follow this one, and I'll see what we can do...all based on how close we get. Thx...Jim (6/10/2009)

Response: Hello and thanks very much for your email. Although I'd very much like to do business with a Wisconsin-based company, this safe will require specialized care that likely does not fit your needs. I do in fact have another company that has committed to moving the safe for me this week, but if that falls through I'll repost and ask for a bid from you. That said, I do routinely need frieght shipped as I sell surplus army 6x6 trucks and related parts. Please go to [website URL removed] to see what I routinely need shipped. You can also check out my feedback on ebay; my ebay user ID is gijoeczar. Thanks VERY much, Joe (6/11/2009)

Response: Hi Joe, and I beg to differ in reality. 103 years in the moving business and 4th generation family owned by the same family.. How many movers up here on this site have 3 sets of safe jacks which are made by a company called Rol-A-Lift ?? If you don't know what these are, and many won't...you may do a search. Good luck in your shipment and thank-you for the response. Removing from watch list right now. (6/11/2009)
