Response: Hi, I will place a bid below for your consideration. We offer overnight layovers at safe facilities along the route. The horses are off the trailer for at least 12 hours a night. This layover allows the horses time off the trailer to move around and rest prior to the next days trip. We will be using our 4 horse trailer for this trip so your horse will not be just one of many on the trailer. Please review our profile. Response: I checked out your profile as well as comments. With it being a full trip, what size stall would it be and is it straight load and cross tied? Where do you layover and approx. how many days on trip? thank you (8/19/2009)

Response: We have a double stall left avaiable, which is an extra wide stall. Our trailer is a head to head trailer, holds 5 horses, and we layover at private facilities, not stockyards. We provide the horses with hay and water at all times during their ride in the trailer, we stop every 3-4 hours to check on them, let them rest and refresh hay and water if needed. We keep the tailer deeply bedded to provide more comfort. From CA to NC, we like to provide 4 days along the trip. With layovers and stopping every 3-4 hours so they will be rested when they arrive to their destination. (8/19/2009)

Response: Thanks for the bid. My mare will be ready to transport after Sept. 3rd. (waiting on Coggins). How many days do you normally make the trip in? What about layovers/rest? And do you add bedding throughout the trip? You certainly have great reviews so there is no question about your reputation. I have used the larger transports in the past and will not use them again. Looking for a more personal experience with someone who will look out for my horse this time. (8/26/2009)

Response: Hi there...thanks for the note...Bill Carleton would be taking your horse East and is renowned for being able to do anything (exceptionally) that has to do with a horse...breed, foal, wean, vet and start any horse...make him a saddle and full tack...ride and rope and train him in any discipline...and sing him cowboy songs at night to put the horse to sleep. Bill, Mitch, and Mike all sleep with the horses in the trailers at night and get them out in the daytime for a stretch...all partners, no employees...no horse motels or transient barns...we share the responsibility for your horse with no one, ever...generally a 3 and a half days door to door for Bill with his new Dodge Diesel 4x4 pulling a new Kiefer-Bilt 6-horse with Soft-Step flooring for the smoothest ride out there...thanks for considering us...Kirk at Wings (8/26/2009)
