Question: Just a point of info. I hauled a very similiar lathe from Ohio to Tx recently. They estimated 5,000 lbs. It actually ended up weighing 7,342 lbs. (2/22/2007)

Response: Really! Thanks for the info. We were going by what the seller on eBay had told us. I wondered if he knew the weight or was giving us his best guess. (2/22/2007)

Question: The seller may be right on that model. But at that age they may be guessing. I just know many small trailers have a total capacity of 7,000lbs & some 10,000lbs. Of course there are heavier trailers around, but on uship there are a lot of the smaller ones also & I thought a heads up may save someone some unneccessary deadhead miles to pick up & then may not be able to load. Question: PLEASE TRY TO MAKE SURE THAT WEIGHT IS AS ACCURATE AS POSSILE SO THAT MY DRIVER CAN PUT TOGETHER THE REST OF HIS SHIPMENTS. I CAN DO THIS AS A PARTIAL AND IF THE WEIGHT IS OFF IT PROBABLY WONT BE AN ISSUE AS MY TRUCKS CAN CARRY ABOUT 44,000 LBS. (2/26/2007)
