Response: Hi can you dismantle any part of this houseboat to lower the height to 12 ft. or less 13.6 ft. is legal height it is difficult to transport over that most overhead bridges are not much higher then that thanks Ron (7/5/2008)

Response: Hi Ron, Yes we should be able to get the height to less than 13'6". I had the boat transported from Laurel, Kentucky to Lake Powell, Ut. We had to take the AC unit off and remove the railings on the upper deck. I think this is somewhat dependent on how high the boat sits off of the ground on your trailer. If you can give me that info, I will see if I can get someone at Bullfrog to give me an exact measurement of the boat from the bottom to the top of the upper deck. Have you looked at the boat on the Lake Powell Boats For Sale website. The boat is listed as "1977 Laurel Boat Co". Perhaps this will help. Assuming the boat can meet the less than 13'6" height requirement could you get me a cost estimate via Uship for shipping this boat? The boat is listed as being in Hite. This is not correct, it is at Bullfrog Marina. There is a possibility that I can get the boat moved over to Halls Crosssing so you could load it there. This would save quite a few miles.
