Questions for this shipment:

Question: What are you wanting done with this Kiln? (4/8/2009)
Response: Well, I would to find out how much it would cost to ship it to a glassmaker in millerton, ny, who has shown preliminary interest. If the glassmaker decides not to take it (based on the shipping cost), I would pay to have it dumped at a transfer station in my own zip code 12528. (4/8/2009)
Response: What is the primary walls made out of? Shipping it to him would be at least 500.00 (4/8/2009)
Response: The outer walls are wood. Internally there is metal. It's heavy. Thanks for the back of the envelope estimate. I will let him know and get back to you. (4/9/2009)
Question: Let me know if the glass maker does not want it, I may be interested. Thanks! (4/9/2009)
Response: Looks like he doesn't want it. Do you think you have equipment suitable for lifting it? It's in a shed about 4 feet above ground level. I think it weights about 1750 lbs. (4/10/2009)
Response: What are the electric requirements, 120 or 240? Thanks! (4/11/2009)
Response: 230V as best as I can tell from what is listed on a tag on the side of the kiln. (4/11/2009)
Question: Hi: I would like to bid but need a close estimate on weight. I have the equipment to load and unload without damaging unit especially if you get a buyer. Will look for your response. Thanks, Ed - Warrior Trucking, LLC Mechanicville, NY 12118 (4/10/2009)
Response: It's approximately 1,750 lbs, thanks. (4/10/2009)
Response: Hi: Thanks for the quick response. My forklift can handle this without a problem. I will give you my best bid utilizing not only transportation but the ability to load and unload the kiln with my forklift. (4/10/2009)
Response: Ok, thanks (4/10/2009)
Question: hi is there any eye loops on top of kiln for rigging also could i back right up to doors (4/12/2009)
Response: I don't see eye loops. Unfortunately there are steps at the doors of the shed, so it's not possible to back all the way up to the doors. I think you can get within 3 feet of the doors. (4/12/2009)
