1. What type of truck or trailer do you use to move my possessions?
2. How much space are you proposing for your quote?
3. Explain to me what your service includes? Do your guys load/unload the truck, or am I responsible for that? Do you include blankets to wrap everything as it gets loaded?

We will load, unload, as well as professionally pad your items as they come on the truck. You won't have to lift a finger. I would like to mention in relation to the bidding, when it comes to this industry, going cheapest is not always the best. Was the bid of 2000 from a reputable company? Response: Thanks for a speedy reply Mountain Movers! Yes, the bid of $2,000 was from a reputable company, much like yours. It was a bid that was entered on Uship in response to my ad. I also understand that cheapest isn't always best, and that is something I am very cognizant about.
I am very interested in using your services, as it seems you have great feedback. I will also do some internet searches for your company. How long have you been in business? What's the name of your organization? Are you insured and bonded?
Finally, my biggest concern with the service you are proposing is in regards to the size of the truck you're proposing. I am confident that you won't get everything into a 26 enclosed box truck. I have a 10x20x9 storage unit that is literally 110% full!
Please let me know how to learn more about your company and your reputation outside of uship, as well as your game plan in regards to the space concern. I am ready to book this shipment and get it to Cleveland!

Response: Hello this is Chris again from Mountain Movers. Thank you for your questions wich are valid and a true concern. We have on a number of occasions filled a 26 foot with a 10 by 20 full storage. That being said, leaving items behind would not be acceptable. I need to upload pictures of my loads on uship because all loaders and movers for that matter, are not created equal :-) Every square inch will be filled. As far as refrences are concerned, this is essencial when hiring a helping hand in this industry. Uship is very strict, which is respected and understandable by us, to lead potential shippers off site. So all I can give you at this point is our refrences that have been previously stated from Uship clients. Response: Hi Chris! Thanks for getting back to me. To be perfectly honest, I am a bit concerned with you having just a 26 foot truck. When calling around, everyone seems to think that it is impossible to utilize more than 60% of a storage unit. When I explain that I have nearly 100% of this thing filled, they rarely believe me. I come back to my original question of what happens if your truck isn't large enough?
What are the dates that you are proposing, and what is your official bid amount? Can you enter it in as an official bid on uship?
Also, how long from the date that you leave with my goods will it take you to arrive in Cleveland? I want to research plane tickets to fly up there and meet you at a storage unit. That is a cost that I'll need to work into my budget.

Response: Yes, as stated in the listing the total volume is a 10x20x9 storage unit. That equates to a total cubic volume of 1800 cubic feet. I can assist in loading/unloading if necessary, but should be reflected in the quote. I have had numerous quotes from companies that do the loading/unloading. Since this is coming from a storage unit and going into a storage unit, this shouldn't be an issue. Please let me know your best price as quickly as possible, as I am ready to book this shipment. I am moving these items from a storage to a storage unit, so will not need someone to disassemble and reassemble any furniture. I would prefer that the shipper load their truck and provide pads for my furniture during the loading/shipping process. Please provide your best quote at your earliest convenience.
