Questions for this shipment:

Question: Can you help load this onto my trailer? Can it be securly tied to a 18ft. flat bed trailer? I have many straps and tie downs. We could make this trip after Nov 10th. Please check our 100% positive feedback. Our provider name is (TQUERCIA) Thanks Tom and Sue (10/27/2008)
Response: Yes, there will be a truck with a boom that will lift it with straps and load it onto a trailer. At the destination there will be a forklift with straps to unload it. I would want to be there in Phoenix to load it and then meet you at destination in Reno to unload it. It is 22 feet long, so I'm not sure if a 18 foot trailer will be long enough. You will need straps and blankets or shipping pads to protect the two wings that will need to be strapped down to your trailer. I would need to know exact dates that you could pick up the aircraft because I need to make sure that the storage yard will be open. Thanks for your email. (10/27/2008)
Response: Hi, Thanks for responding, If aircraft can over hang about four feet, and we load the wings on each side blanket wrapped. I think this will work well. We can be very flexible on timing. we could book it with the (book it now) But want to be sure you are comfortable with it. Thanks Tom and Sue (10/28/2008)
Question: Thanks for the request. We have a truck heading West in approx. two weeks. It can handle your plane, equipped with straps, and blankets. If this time frame may work let us know and we can submit a formal bid. We can give you a 3 day heads up prior to load time. Once loaded ETA will be determined...1.5 to 2 days.... depending on the sun. Dennis (10/27/2008)
Response: Hi, the time frame works but, I would like to be there when it is loaded to secure a few things with the aircraft's hydraulic landing gear system and the battery, so the only problem is my work schedule will only allow me to be available on Nov 3 or Nov 17/18, or Nov24 to meet you in Phoenix at the salvage yard. Ideally a pickup on Monday Nov 24 would be the best with a drop off in Reno by Nov 28 at the latest. It should be an fairly easy deal with only the body of the airplane (fuselage) and two wing halves. I would be interested in your price. Thanks (10/27/2008)
Question: Just how wide is the aircraft at the wing root after the wing is removed? Also, are you allowing the wings to be shipped flat and not in a cradle? Any elevator control locks or would we need to fabricate them? Steven SAFEtrux (10/28/2008)
Response: Hi Steven, The center section/wing root is 100 inces wide and the landing gear width is just inside the 100 inces width say about 98" wide. The wings can sit on the flat bed trailer on 2" insulation foam strips that I can get from Home Depot. It may be possible to retract the landing gear and have it sit flat on the trailer bed on old car tires. No elevator control locks would be necessary. Before I contract someone to ship this I would need to clarify the details [NOTE: Once a bid is accepted, both parties’ contact info will be exchanged. –uShip] and make sure this is something that you can accomadate with a flat bed trailer. Do you have a flat bed trailer and if so how big is it? There will be a boom truck with straps to load it in Phoenix and a fork lift with straps to unload it and I will be at both locations for load and unload. Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. Scott (10/31/2008)
Response: Common guys! If your trailer isn't wide enough, then BUY the OVERSIZE PERMIT! They are only $50 or 60 bucks and you can down load them from ADOT web site.I can run this my trucks are down for service.Steven SAFEtrux (11/15/2008)
Question: We have a 24 ft enclosed trailer. How wide is the plane? Height? Length wise, it will fit. Will this roll into trailer? (10/29/2008)
Response: Unfortunately a 24 foot enclosed trailer won't work. The center wing section with the wings removed is 100 inches wide and the body is 22 feet long. Thanks for your interest. (10/31/2008)
Question: How wide is the plane at the landing gear? I live in Phoenix area and could be very flexible on timing. I am also DOT compliant, and fully insured. Please read the link in my profile to learn why that is very important to you. I have a 35 foot, flat trailer, so only question is width, my trailer is 80 inches wide, and your plane appears to be smaller than that, but would need to know for sure. Rick (10/30/2008)
Response: Hi Steve, It looks like Monday November 17th is going to be a good date to load the aircraft. Again, it is 22 feet long and 9'4" (100 inches) wide at the wing center section. The two wing halves are each 7'8" long X 3' wide and can be easily picked up by hand. Do you have moving blankets. I think I will try to find a Home Depot and buy some 2" foam sheets with the shiny silver backing and set the wings on foam.I'm going to try to have the guy at the salvage yard weld one small piece that is broken on the right landing gear so I can reinstall it for transport otherwise I will need to get a car tire and have the right side of the plane rest on the tire. Were you able to get a reliable truck? Does it look like you will be able to do this shipment? If you can't please let me know and I can use one of the other bids for $1,000.00 that I have received. Looking forward to working with you on this if you were able to get a truck. Please advise as soon as possible. Thanks, Scott (11/12/2008)
Question: i will have my hotshot that pulls a 40 ft trailer out in phoenix on the 5th. I can do it then.. (11/3/2008)
Response: 1. How wide is your trailer? The center section of the aircraft is 100 inches wide. 2. If you picked it up on the 5th what day would you arrive in my home town Reno, Nevada? 3. Do you have USDOT number and if so, what is it? Thanks for your bid and look forward to hearing from you. Scott Douglass (11/4/2008)
Response: i can deliver by friday the 7th. i have a usdot number if you call and make arrangements i will give to you,as i try to put it in my answer but then it won't show up. my trailer is 8 feet wide so the plane will fit. i need to know asap cause if i don't pick this up i have to book my driver on something else. I am a trucking comapny based out of beaumont, ca (11/4/2008)
Question: I could haul this for you. The 8th would be the earlies I could pick it up. My goose Neck is 26' long and 8.5' wide. If you are interested I will put in a bid of $1000. Thanks Carrie (11/4/2008)
Response: Not sure if you got my responses to your email that you offered to put a bid in for $1,000.00. I tried to give you some general information about the shipment as far as dimensions, pickup and destination to see if this would work for you on such short notice. It is difficult to give a shipper all of the pertinent information about this shipment in this Uship format. If this date would work for you I would take a flight to Phoenix to help load the aircraft and since I would be taking an airline flight that day I would need to know if you can be there in Phoenix at the salavage yard on Tuesday the 18th, then I would be interested in receiving your bid. Thanks again for your time, Scott Douglass (11/13/2008)
Response: I am in Las Vegas right now and Monday would be fine for a pick up date for me. You know the demintions of my trailer. If the trailer would work I would be most interseted in hauling this air plane for you. I'm putting in a bid of $1000. right now. Please except or decline soon so that I will know whether or not to head to phonex tomarrow or not. Thanks, Carrie (11/14/2008)
Response: Carrie, I will be in Phoenix and there is a boom truck there to load with straps. The aircraft has a broken right main landing gear, but I will be bringing a new landing gear leg to install at the yard in Phoenix so that the plane can roll on its own wheels. IF for some reason I cannot install the new landing gear, the RIGHT hand side of the plane would then need to sit on a car tire and padding. I can get an old used car tire across the street from the yard. I need to know if you have heavy moving blankets for the wings? It should only take about 30 minutes to load the plane but it could take me an hour to put the new landing gear in, so I will arrive early in the morning and rent a car. If all goes well it should only take minimal time to load and unload and then whatever time it takes to secure the plane and wings. BUT if it took a few hours what is your load/unload policy? Any hidden charges? Thanks, Scott Douglass (11/14/2008)
Response: Trailer deck is 8.5' wide. No other items on trailer with your air plane. Yes I have nylon tie downs. Packing quilts can be rented for $5.00 a day for 6 58"x85" blankets. How many would be needed? I have driven under a family members authority. Recently I applied for my own DOT and MC number. I have not received them yet. I was told 21 days. That is why I have not put the numbers on my profile. I do not have enought insurance to cover the plane. You can get insurance through uShip. It is very reasonable. Thanks for considering me. Carrie (11/14/2008)
Response: Sound good Carrie, But the big question I needed answered is: CAN you be in Phoenix at the yard on Tuesday November 18th prior to NOON to be loaded with the aircraft? This is the only day that the yard manager is available that works with my schedule so I can fly down there and be there to load the plane on your trailer. The two wings are about 8 feet long and 3 feet wide, so as many blankets required to entirely wrap both wings. Again, I need to know before I take your bid, Can you COMMIT 100% to be at the yard in Phoenix on next Tuesday November 18 orior to NOON???? Thanks. I look forward to your response. Scott (11/14/2008)
Response: Yes I will be in Phoenix on Monday afternoon. November 17th. I require 1/2 paid at the time of pickup and balance on delivery. I need to have you except or decline my bid today so I can move on and make a bid on another load that would work good for me. Thank you, Carrie (11/15/2008)
Response: Ok Carrie sounds good I will accept your bid on here as soon as I get your repsonse to this queston: WILL THERE BE ANY OTHER ITEMS SHIPPED ON YOUR TRAILER WITH MY AIRCRAFT? If you can be there on TUESDAY to be loaded then it works out and I will do this, but please answer ASAP my question above. I can accept your bid as soon as you get back to me. Please answer ASAP. (11/15/2008)
Question: are you still wanting to ship this item? we are a fully licensed and insured transp provider and will pick up and deliver your plane on a large semi trailer, not with a pickup truck! I will place a fair bid if you still intend to ship thank you (11/5/2008)
Question: Hi, I am based out of the four corners area, I have a 53ft trailer that is 8.5in wide. You can view it on my profile. I can be there on the 7th. Your plane would be the only thing on my trailer during transport. Oh, and the deck space from the neck back on the trailer is 46ft. I could do it for $1500. Let me know. Thanks, Jason (11/5/2008)
Question: Dear shipper, Are you still needing this moved? (11/8/2008)
Response: Yes, still have this available and would like it shipped on November 17 or 18 or 24 for pickup in Phoenix. I will catcha flight to be there to load it. There will be a boom truck with straps to load in Phoenix and a fork lift with straps in Reno to unload. What type truck and trailer do you have? How long and how wide is your trailer? The aircraft wheels are 98 inches wide so trailer would have to be wide enough. Thanks for your interest. (11/12/2008)
Response: I have a 53ft trailer 8ft 6in wide, I could do it for 1500. (11/12/2008)
Question: You have this listed with a broker called Partain trading, do you still need this shipped? Thanks. (11/10/2008)
Question: hi i have a car trailer and long bed dodge diesel pick up 8 ft long i can do your transport asap 1588 (11/11/2008)
Response: Hi Shawn, How much would you estimate being able to do this shipment for? How much advance notice do you need? How long is your car trailer? How wide is your car trailer? What city are you based out of? I'm looking at moving it possibly on the 17th or 18th or on the 24th. I would fly to Phoenix and be there to load it. There is a boom truck with straps that can load it in Phoenix and then a fork lift and straps to unload it. I will be at both locations to laod and unload. Just need it shipped up to Reno. Thanks. (11/12/2008)
Response: hey there i think my trailer is about 18 20 ft give or take and about 74 inch wide between fenders but its an open car trailer no sides your dates are compatible if we book it now and i reserve those dates for you let me know asap i will need at least half now to reserve (11/12/2008)
Response: The plane is 22 feet long from nose to tail, so it could extend pass the end of your car trailer a few feet. The only problem I can see is that your trailer isn't wide enough for the wheels to sit on. The wheels are just under 100 inches wide (8' 4") so not sure how that would work unless we removed the wheels and strapped the axles to some type of outrigger or to a 4X4 that would lay across your trailer and extend out a few feet on each side to support the axles. Do you have a wider trailer? How much would you want to ship this? Thanks, Scott Douglass Reno, NV (11/12/2008)
Response: hey scott that sounds good im the guy for your job whatever we have to do to make it work im here for you i can do for 1800 if we lock in bid now and you pay me upfront i can find/rent another if i have to for the wideth or have my guy to make me something to accomedate yoyur width trailer let me know asap (11/12/2008)
Question: did you want a re bid? what is changing? (11/11/2008)
Response: Yes, go ahead and rebid. I need to decline all bids that I had received so that I could finish up dating the posting. Do you have a flat bed trailer? Length and Width dimensions of trailer? Are you available for pickup in Phoenix on November 17 or 18? Any other load to be carried on trailer with my shipment? I'm flexible on delivery date to Reno Stead Airort. I will be in Phoenix to load and in my home town Reno to unload. Thanks, Scott Douglass (11/11/2008)
Response: please the discription of service offered in my declined bid. Bulldog (11/11/2008)
Question: I cannot run this my trucks are down for service. Steven SAFEtrux (11/15/2008)
