Response: Hi, I think because no one knows the tractor they don't know what to expect. I was the one who talked to you earlier, Kubota themselves answered me back and said there is no such number on the grey market, so there's some mistake on the numbers. But you have said a 4' mower is wider than the tractor, is that so? Where did you see that, is there a pic somewhere? Is the tractor by itself or with a mower? Haulers need to know how much space an item will take and the weight for fuel consumption and legal weight limits. You have had some good bids but declined, with diesel fuel at the level it is, no one can do it without knowing what they're hauling. I am heading that direction and would have to know today what I'm hauling, but you won't get it hauled almost 1000 miles by anyone for less than a reasonable price. Thanks (2/15/2008)

Response: It still needs to be shipped. I don't know how to find out the weigth. It is a Kubota L1550, if that helps. It can come whenever there is a free space. If I can't get it down reasonably, I'll bring it myself in the summer. Thanks (1/24/2008)

Response: The price is most important. If I can't get it done reasonably, I will be up there this summer and do it myself. It's going to have to get added to another load to make it worth both of us being happy. I did list a couple weeks ago on E-bay motors. You could search completed listings to see a picture. I could meet your posted target if the exhaust stack isn't over 5 ft. 5 inches high. That would be to haul in enclosed trailer. Response: Before you tow with a dolly you may want to consider the legality of doing this, in the states you'll be passing through, not to mention the damage it may do to the tractors driveline. It isn't designed to travel at highway speeds. To answer your question, I've changed my plans and will be making the trip south in a car. Had you accepted my bid, I was planning on hauling your tractor along with my own personal motorcycle and, the fee would have covered the fuel costs in one direction. All things considered, I wouldn't have made a profit. I've realized the use of this site isn't for me and have asked Uship to cancel my membership.
