Question:
we can move after the first of the year for you let us know how we can help. nice project i am a pilot myself. our other user name is osbornetransport please check it out (12/22/2007)
Response:
The date is tight because the owner is from Nebraska and only goes to Hays one weekend a month. We want to be there for pictures and to make sure we get it loaded properly. The tires are flat and I don't think there is any towmoter. It is a donation through the Build-A-Plane organization. We are a career-technical school for 11th & 12th grade students. I will be making a decision on a bid by Dec. 28 so that I can make my flight arrangements. (12/22/2007)
Question:
are you firm on the moving date, will have a truck in the area next week, thanks (12/22/2007)

Yes. We need to ship that weekend because the owner and myself are from out of town and are meeting that weekend to access the plane. (12/23/2007)
Response:
ok, thanks (12/23/2007)
Question:
Just a little info for you,We would haul your plane on my rollback truck it would be behind the cab where nothing from the road would hit it. I haul all the planes in that way. If you still want it tarp we can do that also...Jim (12/25/2007)
Response:
I am OK with no tarp. Thanks for the information. (12/26/2007)
Question:
I have one trk and special built enclosed trailer that is designated especially for small planes a picture of trailer will be on my profile for 24 hrs after this is posted for your viewing. have a few questions are you sure the width is 8ft most i have hauled with wings removed are 6ft 8 to 7ft 1in. will you provide helpers in loading and unloading and will you make sure it is rollable this trailer has hyd rear door that lowers down to a ramp has 28ft of length clelarance and plenty of height. but we donot haul airplanes at these prices. They need special strapping and special bracing as to not harm the skin so whatever you carrier you choose be advised. Just some friendly advice we will gladly place a bid. But if you dont care how it gets there as long as it gets there please choose another, we use this site strictly for a fill in. let me know if you would like for us to bid Thanks**** (12/26/2007)
Response:
I am not sure of the width. You are probably closer to the right dimensions. The only people there will be myself and the former plane owner who is donating it to my school. We are a school who is accepting this as a project for students to work on. No intention of flying it. Thank you for the information on the transport. We are new at this. (12/26/2007)
