Question: I HAVE A FLATBED WITH RAMPS AVAILABLE ABOUT ANYTIME. WHEN DO YOU WANT THIS DONE? THANKS FOR YOUR TIME (4/23/2009)
Response: Thank you for your interest. Would like to have it hauled within the next week. I will need to coordinate with farmer/seller to arrange for him to be there for pickup. Ramps will need to be such that he can back the spreader up on the trailer with a farm tractor without too much trouble. Consequently must be sturdy and can't be excessively steep. Is it a flatbed or a drop deck trailer? (4/24/2009)

Response: Thank you for your interest. It would be fairly involved to remove the tongue I believe. The farmer/seller will be available to load the spreader by backing it up on trailer by ramps. He doesn't have a forklift or dock available. (4/24/2009)

Response: Thank you for your interest. Ramps should work as long as they are sturdy enough to carry a farm tractor (perhaps as much as 12,000 lbs.) because that is how the farmer/seller intends to load it. Also can't be excessively steep. I'm new at this so I hope that gives you the information that you need. (4/24/2009)
