Response: Does the customer have a budget for this move? With the service provider doing the packing, and purchasing all of the related supplies, it could get up there on the price. Would you be able to fill out a move sheet here on Uship, and list everything the customer needs shipped so we can get a better idea what we are looking at? We have a 16' box truck, and a 24' open trailer. We have bid on moves like this, only to show up at the house, and after some hageling, have the price raise up by $1500. Question: I am comitted to move a family from Georgia to Belligham, WA on June 29th. They will use half a truck. Without knowing how many bedrooms and a list of items it is hard to give you a bid. Could you say your items will use half a truck box 7.5 by7.5 by 24 all in feet? Thanks. (6/13/2008)
Response: It is about 7,000 lbs I am not sure! If you pack it very well maybe. The customer wants full packing on this job so he wants you to pack the boxes and supply them. Let me know as soon as you can.

Response: If I wanted to do the packing I would have to take a business license in the state of Ill and also in the city of Chicago and do taxes tehre because it will be retail. It is not practical. If the weight is truly 7000 lbs he probably needs a whole 24ft truck and I could not do it then. There are compnies that only do packing. (6/13/2008)
