Additional Information: I just learned that the shipper I hired 9/3/8 has lied to me for the past 3 1/2 months - the equipment never even left the Carolinas - in fact they hauled it from NC to SC and ABANDONED IT AT A HOTEL PARKING LOT. This is a nightmare!
I need the equipment picked up in North Charleston, SC. and delivered to Nikiski AK ideally. Someone coming this way by truck - and not shuffled from truck to truck. Thebest would be a 8-9 car hauler - this rig takes the same same as a 4 real door long bed pickup. We are a IRS 501 (c) 3 approved non profit animal sanctuary & the equipment is for use here. Any donated shipping costs will be 100% tax deductable!
The tractor is 13' long and it has a 6.5 x 14 trailer (trailer bed size) hooked to it and a 6x14 trailer setting in the first trailer. I unfortunately only have poor photos of equipment but will try to down load them anyway. I have several dogs outside at any given time - NONE will hurt anyone.

Charitable Designation: This tractor and implements are for use on our animal sanctuary - I am disabled and this equipment is to help make up for what I can no longer physically do myself. Also it will be use to fetch firewood - we heat solely with wood here at AELAS Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: We are Alaska based carrier from Homer, Ak. Have a truck in Seattle this week can pick up your Equiptment in Washougal and deliver to Nikiski. If you can ship this week . Get back to me. and I will give you a rate Quote. aktruck24 (12/28/2008)
Response: Well. I learned that LAD has been lying to me for the past 3.5 months! The equipment never left the Carolinas. They picked it up in North Carolina and ABANONED THE EQUIPMENT IN A HOTEL PARKING LOT in South Carolina - a state in the WRONG DIRECTION! IT HAS BEEN SITTING AT THE NORTH CHARLESTON INN PARKED IN A CORNER OF THEIR PARKING LOT SINCE THE LAST WEEK OF OCTOBER. Would you be interested in going and getting it and bringing home with you. You can drop it off at Craig Taylors in Soldotna - save ya 100 miles of driving, when your that close to home every saved mile is appreciated! I hate to ask - but your the only one I know of that's heading this way. I can trust your driving if you have made several trips up and down the alcan and live in homer. I flew out of Homer for Larry the whole time they were working at Bradley lake. Please let me know (12/29/2008)
Question: Can you tell me the total weight, trailer and tractor? The size of the ball & if the trailer lights work will help. Also if the trailer is road worthy. I live in Seattle. (12/29/2008)
Response: Thanks but the trailers are stacked on top of each other and hooked to the tractor ball - good idea though - thanks for taking the time to ask (12/29/2008)
Response: Thanks for the quick response. So you really need a 30’ flat bed dedicated to your load. (12/29/2008)
Response: yea, or a longer 40' or 50'er so they can add other loads around it. Ideally they would use a car hauler trailer - equipment takes up the same space as a dually 4 real door pickup truck. That way they can still move 8 other vehicles - will get the price down to what I can afford - remember I'm out the original $3,500 I paid - up front to the as...... that left abandoned my $15,000 worth of equipment in a HOTEL PARKING LOT- I'm sorry - I am still besides myself I can NOT believe a company would do that. Welcome to the 21st century eh (12/29/2008)
Response: You maybe able to do it cheaper by dividing the shipment. If the trailer on top of the trailer together would not weight more than 3000lbs, I could do it for $1500. I could help you take all to the port. I live in WA. (12/30/2008)
Question: you are unreasonable to think someone will haul this stuff for less than $3000. good luck on shipment (1/1/2009)
Response: I will double check - but I do not think that I have even mentioned $3000 or less for this shipment! I will accept all offers - You are correct in your statement that I will not find someone for under $3000 - I would like to be close but certainly not under 3000! You are welcome to make a bid! (1/2/2009)
Question: To the port of washington for 5500.00 pickup this comming week and will have to have half up front. Look at my feedback (1/2/2009)
Question: I received and email from you but I could only see this "" (1/2/2009)
