Question: The shippers need to be aware of the equipment that is being used to move their shipments. I was involved with another SP that offered a lower price than I did and wanted to merely slide the shipment off their trailer on the Shippers driveway. He just didn't have the proper equipment to do the job and nearly won the job with a low bid. Shippers need to look at this closely. Compare Apples for Apples. Bigger loads for bigger trucks, smaller loads for smaller trucks. Bid safely. Good Luck to Everyone out there (Shippers and Providers) (5/19/2009)
