Question: How soon will this colt be ready to be picked up? IF i can get a stock trailer bought in Montana this next week i will be coming through there, and after a few days rest here at the ranch in oklahoma will deliver to Laredo... IF this works please let me know.. I would be 1.00 per mile.. as there it is a one horse trip to laredo.. thanks bobmc (11/1/2009)

Response: My buyer is from Monterray, Mexico. He has been responding with me through his work email. He has not definitely bought the filly yet. He asked me to get quotes for him to ship. I have been emailing him the quotes. Since he is using his work email he told me he will not be able to respond to me till Monday. Since I have gotten some other quotes I have suggested to some other buyers to maybe try to also use the same shipper to help with cost. I have a buyer from Atwood, TX with one horse, a buyer from Lynchburg, TN with one horse, and I am waiting to hear from another buyer in TX who is looking at 2 horses. Could you break it down for how much it would cost if I had a run like this. Nothing is a definite but I am giving some potential buyers some options.

Response: Thank you for your responds... I would not be interested at this time.. until your horse is paid for. and transportation to Laredo would hage to be CASH UPFRONT, and the name of the BROKER, as I have been stuck in Laredo with horses before.. I have been doing this for about 30 years and you can figure from two places out of the way going north and south, about 80 cents per mile. a dead head to galveston will be a lot more.. good luck with your sales, If i can help please let me know.. bobmc (11/2/2009)

Question: Hello, This is DJ (alliedtrades497) Please give me a shout when you are ready to ship horses so I can place a formal bid. I will be delivering two horses in Central SD and will be looking for a load. Thank you for your time and consideration, DJ (alliedtrades497) (11/1/2009)

Response: I have posted several of our horses on the internet for sale and I am getting a lot of interest from all over. You said you need to make a trip to Central SD with two horses. Where are you returning to?
My potential buyer for the Jet Hot Charge filly is from Monterray, Mexico and has asked to accumulate bids to haul this horse. He is expecting to look at bids tomorrow, Monday.
I also have a buyer from Atwood, KS who is interested in also using what ever shipper might haul to Laredo, TX if it is reasonable. Then I have a buyer from Lynchburg, TN interested in using the same shipper if it is cost effective for him. I also have a buyer from TX I told about how we could line up a shipper for her two horses from our place but have not heard back from her yet since she does not check her email often. I am having to figure out a lot over the weekend for this buyer from Mexico so I am hoping something will work out.
Could you give me bids so you can be included in the decision for who we u (11/1/2009)

Response: I am still waiting for an answer to confirm the load to SD. When confirmed I will need a load out of SD. I try to keep my deadhead miles minimal. I can operate at $.75 cpm with no deadhead miles plus I have to pay a huge uship fee. Thank you for getting back to me. DJ (alliedtrades497) (11/2/2009)

Response: I am just now hearing back from my buyer from Mexico. He hasn't confirmed he is buying the horse yet. He asked me to look into shippers and now I am just waiting for him to look over all of the bids.
