Questions for this shipment:

Question: Is it packaged? If so, how? Must be freight ready ie: palletized or crated. Also, Can this be picked up at a local business or freight terminal? Residential pick up is a problem with national carriers. It will also save you money. Delivery at a residence is ok, again cheaper not to. If it has to go to a residence will they need a lift gate to unload. Driver will not unload that weight by hand? Please let me know and I will bid accordingly. Thanks (6/23/2006)
Response: The items are in the backyard of a lady, not packaged or palletized. She does not want to do any lifting or packaging herself. I do not mind unloading here, and have help to do so. I do have a business that will accept deliveries here, but again they do not have a ramp or such. I don't think we need a lift gate to unload, as I do have a multilevel deck we could back up to. A local business has offered to go crate/pallet the items, and ship here for $1 a pound. I feel like I could go up and rent a truck and bring it back for that price. The $200 ship it now I know is a low ball offer. (6/23/2006)
Question: We will not be able to help you with this move. Thank you. (6/26/2006)
Question: Thank You for the Bid Request, however I am not working in your area at this time... Best of Luck (7/2/2006)
Question: Can possibly do this around the 26th of July and delivery on the 28th of July. I will send another question when I am sure I will be going to southern Arizona. Are the panels truly 3 inches wide? Are they listed anywhere on the internet so that I can get the best idea of size for a bid? Thanks, EVAN, SeenIndustriale (7/2/2006)
Response: I think that would be fine, I would check with seller. I am 7 miles off of I-10, 40 miles east of Tucson arizona (7/2/2006)
Question: Hello ~ Thank you for requesting a bid from us. I want to check your measurements again please....8'Long x 4' High x 3" square ~ Can the posts stand up or must they lay flat? Believe I can transport for you but want to be clear on the measurements. I understand your Seller will not help with loading. Thanks ~ Dee (7/2/2006)
Response: I will call and double check the measurements again. You can look at http://www.jerith.com/images/lal100101.gif for the 101 fence under the 100 series. I believe she said it was 8 foot panels. The posts were appx. 65 inches Room to bury it to match the 48 inch fence. Panels and posts can lay down or stand up, Item has been in her backyard for two years, so not too terribly worried about dust, small scratches, etc. (7/2/2006)
Question: Sorry, but I will not be able to bid on this job. As always, thanks for requested for a bid. (7/2/2006)
Question: Thanks for the communication ~ your fencing is pretty attractive. I think I'll be fine. My husband is on a run expected home for dinner will double check with him and then place our bid. Thank you so much for being such a Gentleman. ~ Dee (7/2/2006)
Question: Good Morning ~ Sorry, thought I was pushing the 8 instead of 9.....will cancel my bid and re-bid. Hoping to hear from you later today so I can plan my schedule. Thanks ~ Dee (7/3/2006)
Question: Good Morning ~ Leaving on the 6th for Salt Lake area, expect delivery around the 9th. Please accept or decline my bid trying to win shipments to fill my carrier. Thanks ~ Dee (7/3/2006)
Response: Came in to accept your bid, saw that it was cancelled. Are you already full? I had to talk to the seller first. Let me know if you are still planning on making any type of trip, and I will agree (7/3/2006)
Question: Hi ~ Thanks for the email. I am not home right now to re-bid. Will bid again about 7:00 p.m. CA time. Using the library Compaq and having difficulty, not even sure you will get this message, but I am trying. ~ Dee (7/3/2006)
